Sidekicks is a non-profit parent group formed to support the BHS soccer program. We are a volunteer run organization. Please visit our website or speak with a board member to find out which opportunities are available. Through the years Sidekicks has provided the teams with: equipment goalie jerseys bags t-shirts uniforms scrimmage fees goals pizza parties end of season banquets Sidekicks is a part of the Athletic Boosters. In addition to joining Sidekicks, all soccer families are asked to be a member of the Athletic Boosters as well. For those unfamiliar with Athletic Boosters there are three different levels of membership each offering different privileges (see enclosed membership sheet). In order for a senior to be eligible for our Sidekicks $500 scholarship you must have been a member of Boosters and Sidekicks for each year played. 3 Beavercreek Booster Club, Inc Dayton-Xenia Road Beavercreek OH Mission The Athletic Boosters mission is the support and development of all student athletes by providing training tools and opportunities for participants in conjunction with the needs of the Beavercreek Athletic Department and staff including facility improvement, equipment addition, and financial support. Where your membership money goes... Last year, we gave 4 $500 scholarships and State Championship rings for coaches and players of the varsity men s soccer team. In the past 6 years, we have accomplished many things: football scoreboard, BEAVERCREEK ATHLETIC BOOSTER MEMBERSHIP CAMPAIGN batting cages, basketball backboards with lights, indoor putting green,wrestling mats, competitive cheer mats, gymnastics springboard and mats, stadium windscreens, new header for the press box, new weight room and floor, state champion rings for bowling teams, track, swimming and wrestling athletes and our scholarship recipients. Why we re different from individual sports groups... We assist all sports and the BHS Athletic Department. 4 Dear Community Neighbor, The Beavercreek High School Soccer Sidekicks organization is a non-profit parent association which supports the High School Boys and Girls Soccer program. This program includes six teams, three on the boys side and three on the girls. Our main mission is to generate revenue to cover expenses for all teams, including team uniforms and equipment, player recognition events such as Senior Night and awards banquets, and an annual scholarship to a member of both the Boys and Girls Soccer programs. We are looking for local businesses to support the BHS Sidekicks and the BHS Soccer program by sponsoring a banner at Frank Zink Field at Miami Valley Hospital Stadium promoting your company and logo. The banners will be professionally printed on a strong vinyl material to withstand the outdoor elements. We offer two options for banners. Sponsorship cost is $500 for a 4 x5 banner, and your continued support is appreciated with an annual renewal of $350. Sponsorship cost is $100 for a 2 x4 banner, with a renewal of $60. These signs will be hung on the perimeter fence inside the stadium by the home entrance from mid-august until the end of fall sports season, including tournament games. Miami Valley Hospital Stadium is the home for the Beavercreek Boys and Girls Soccer teams, as well as freshmen, JV and Varsity High School Football teams. All verbiage and artwork are subject to final approval by the Beavercreek School District designees. Beavercreek High School Soccer Sidekicks is a sub-committee of the Beavercreek High School Booster Club which has been recognized by the Internal Revenue Service as a 501(c) (3) tax exempt organization, Federal Identification Number Community interest and support are very important to the success of our program, and we invite your participation. 7 The 2018 Beavercreek Soccer Alumni Day: Saturday, August 18th at BHS Zink Field Women s Games Girls Reserve vs. Junior Varsity 2:30 p.m. Girls Varsity and Youth Club Event 3:30 p.m. Men s Games Boys Varsity vs. Junior Varsity Boys Varsity vs. Men Alumni 5:00 p.m. 7:00 p.m. This event celebrates the Beavercreek Soccer Program with players past, present, and future coming together to enjoy a day of soccer. It is also a very important fundraiser for our BHS Soccer Sidekicks, so we will need the help of each family. Please note that alcohol or flammable items are not permitted in the baskets. VOLUNTEER NEEDS We will need volunteers to help set up, sell raffle tickets, work at the registration table, sell 50/50 tickets, and sell spirit wear and vintage wear throughout the day for onehour slots. We will be using an on-line program called Signup Genius to sign up to volunteer. Typically, family members from the boy s teams work while the girls play and vice versa.
