We understand that changes may need to be made. Even if no changes are necessary, we would still like you to attend registration, or come into the office to drop off your paperwork. 3. Our dance year is divided into 4 sessions. Each session is 9 weeks long. Students are enrolled for the entire dance year of 36 weeks. Payment is expected 2 weeks prior to the start of each session. (See Calendar for due dates). Each family is required to pay a $135 non-refundable annual administrative/registration fee at the time of your registration (This fee does not apply to Dance Company Families). Your administrative/registration fee includes 4 tickets to our Spring Production May 10-12, A late fee of $25 will be assessed on all accounts that are 30 days past due. This also applies to all payment plans. Once assessed a late fee, your dancer will not be allowed to participate in class until the account is current. There is a $25 fee for all NSF checks There is a $5 fee for repeat declined credit cards. **Refund Policy: No refunds/credits will be given after the start of the session.**

5 LOCATIONS Main Studio and Business Office Location: 102 N. Cook Street, Barrington, IL (across from the old post office) Annex Studio Location: 120 Lageschulte, Barrington, IL (behind Tracks Restaurant) ACROBATICS Students age 4 and up will learn acrobatic floor technique and tricks. Everything from forward rolls to tucks and tumbling are included. Students will also gain physical strength, flexibility, and coordination. Class placement for 3 rd grade and up is based on skill level. Attire: solid-colored leotard and solid-colored tights. Nude Foot Undeez or Dance Paws are required for the recital for dancers 2 nd grade and up. Fitted shorts may be worn over tights and leotard. Hair must be off the face. BALLET Open for age 3 through High School. Attire: solid-colored leotard; solid-colored tights; pink or white ballet shoes with elastic over the instep. NO SKIRTS. Leotards with skirts attached are not allowed. Hair is to be secured tightly in a bun with a hairnet for 3 rd Grade and up. Second Grade and under may have a pony tail. COMPETITIVE GROUPS Dazzlers (PonPom/Dance Team), Acro, Hip Hop Production, Ballet Small Groups, Production and Tap. DANCE COMPANY Auditions are open to dancers 5 th grade and up. Dancers 3 rd grade and under are admitted by invitation only. Company members attend two/three competitions, two workshops and perform at community/charity events. Prerequisite: Members must be enrolled in Ballet and Jazz. 8 th grade and under must also take Tap. Attire: black leotard and carmel tights. Hair needs to be secured tightly in a bun with a hairnet. SOLID black fitted shorts may be worn over a leotard and tights. DAZZLERS Bataille s very own Dance Team/Poms program. Learn competitive routines in the dance team style and genre. HIP HOP Urban dancing at its best; learn the moves you see on your favorite dance shows with age appropriate moves and music. Open to Grades 2 and up. Attire: solid-colored leotard; solid-colored tights; hip hop shoes. Fitted shorts and sweats may be worn over tights and leotard. Hair must be up and off the face. JAZZ Prerequisite: 1 st 5 th graders must be concurrently enrolled in a ballet class. Attire: solid-colored leotard; solid-colored tights; Capezio caramel slip-on jazz shoes required. Hair is be secured tightly in a bun with hairnet. Fitted shorts may be worn over tights and leotard. OVER

6 CONTEMPORARY Contemporary is a combination of ballet, jazz, and modern that interprets music in its movements. Prerequisite: Must be concurrently enrolled in a ballet class and be in grades 5-12 and an intermediate to advance level dancer. Attire: solid-colored leotard; solid-colored tights; lyrical shoes. Hair must be in a bun. M.O.B. Men of Bataille classes are open to boys only. They are composed of a mix of Jazz and Hip Hop technique. Attire: Black or white t-shirt; black shorts, black sweat pants or jazz pants; black slip-on jazz shoes are required. POINTE If you re in 6 th grade or older and you re ready to learn pointe but, have never taken pointe try our Pre-Pointe Class (with teacher approval). If you re already up on pointe see the Director for your appropriate level. Prerequisite: Must have a minimum of 2 years of ballet and be concurrently enrolled in a Ballet class. Attire: solid-color leotard; solid-colored tights; pink ballet shoes with elastic over the instep for pre-pointe and pointe shoes for pointe class. Hair is to be secured tightly in a bun with hairnet. PRE-JAZZ Intro level Jazz and Hip Hop technique designed for 1 st /2 nd graders. Prerequisite: Must be currently enrolled in a ballet class. Attire: solid-colored leotard; solid-colored tights; fitted Bootie shorts. Caramel slip-on jazz shoes required. Hair is be secured tightly in a bun with hair net. CREATIVE MOVEMENT This creative movement class for 2 and 3 year olds helps them gain confidence and self-esteem at this kids only class that encourages independent skills. They learn music recognition, acrobatic tricks, songs, and fun dance moves. Attire: Students may wear any comfortable clothing which allows them to easily move and stretch including gym shoes. Girls are free to wear leotards, tights, and ballet shoes if they wish. Please no large tutus and/or skirts and no barrettes in hair. They are uncomfortable during tumbling. TAP Tap classes are available to students age 3 and up. Attire: solid-color leotard; solid-colored tights; K-2 nd graders wear patent black tap shoes with black elastic over the instep (no bows). Black jazz taps, slip on or ties, are required for DC members and older students for the recital. Hair is to be secured tightly in a bun with a hairnet for 3 rd grade and up.
