1 2013 St. Martin Parish Livestock Show Results The St. Martin Parish 4-H & FFA Livestock Show was held on January 11-12, 2013 at the St. Martin Parish Livestock Show Barn on the Breaux Bridge High School campus. Thirty-four 4-H members exhibited a total of 75 beef, dairy, sheep, goat, and swine animals. The livestock projects (1) are tools for the development of life skills by 4-H and FFA members, (2) provide an opportunity to expand their knowledge of livestock production and management, (3) improve and enhance livestock production in Louisiana. Therefore, the purpose of the 4-H livestock program is to provide opportunities for young people to develop character and life skills. Character traits identified are: leadership, respect, trustworthiness, responsibility, fairness, caring, honesty, integrity, self-esteem, and citizenship. Youth develop life skills and character traits when they are involved in each phase of the livestock project from selection through the show ring. The results of the 2013 St. Martin Parish 4-H & FFA Livestock Show are as follows: Goat Show Results GOAT SHOWMANSHIP Senior Division: Champion Senior Showman: Hunter Tauzin 2 nd Place: Chandler Patin 3 rd Place: Scott Thibodeaux 4 th Place: Luke Patin 5 th Place: Elliott Bernard Junior Division: Champion Junior Showman: Camryn Hebert 2 nd Place: Jana Boudreaux 3 rd Place: Hailey Bijeaux 4 th Place: Lindsey Mouton 5 th Place: Joel Babineaux 6 th Place: Bronsyn Boggs 7 th Place: Xavier Stewart Overall Goat Showmanship Champion: Hunter Tauzin Pee Wee Goat Showmanship Winner: Kade Huval Old Timers Goat Showmanship Winner: Cody Hebert
