3 Adult Programs (17 and Over) If you have ever wanted to take up tennis, now is the time. Qualified professionals along with USPTS tennis-pro Bill Van Deinse will be teaching adult clinics. Each week, clinics will be held to help get you started or advance your tennis skills. Clinic will be cancelled if fewer than 3 people are enrolled. Monday - Shot of the Day - Fringe Shots Every Monday starting June 27th, Noon 1:00 pm at the Harker Courts. This could be a spin serve, a drop shot, a topspin lob, an angle or a myriad of other fringe shots. You will learn how and when to try these tricky plays. Check the sign-up sheet. Each week will bring a new topic. Monday - Morning Mechanics Clinic Every Monday starting June 27th, 9:00-10:00 am at the Village Courts, with Dave Thies or Sue Mulcahy. Instruction designed to improve your forehand, backhand, serve & volley. Tuesday - Serve & Return Clinic Every Tuesday starting June 28 th, Noon - 12:45 pm at the Village Courts. You may learn how to add a little topspin to your forehand, a little underspin to your backhand or drive the ball with more pace. Wednesday Ball Machine Clinic Every Wednesday starting June 29th, 11:00 am - Noon at the Village Courts. Work on your mechanics and your consistency as you hit ball after ball from the ball machine. You will have a pro looking over your shoulder guiding your practice. Thursday - Morning Mechanics Clinic Every Thursday starting June 30th, 9:00-10:00 am at the Village Courts, with Dave Thies or Sue Mulcahy. Instruction designed to improve your forehand, backhand, serve & volley. Friday - Doubles Strategy Clinic Every Friday starting July 1 st, at the Village Courts. Hours: 9:00 am -10:00 am, with Dave Thies. Learn about positioning, shot selection, and teamwork in doubles. Saturday - Weekend Warrior Workout Every Saturday starting July 9 th, 10:00 11:00 am, at the Village Courts. This is a fast paced, exercise laden Drill Clinic. This is drill, drill, drill on repetitive sequences of shots.

The day before any event the tennis staff will call you to confirm your participation in that event. After 1:00 pm, we \will give unconfirmed spaces away to wait-list people. We must hear from you personally. If you forget to confirm by 3:00 pm, but remember later in the day, give us a call. If there is still a spot open, we want you to play. If you are going to be gone for the day and unable to receive our confirmation call, just call before we open in the morning and leave your name and confirmation status on the answering machine. Sign-in: All players, at both the Village and Harker Courts, will be asked to present a valid amenity card. The card will allow tennis players to check-in by scanning the barcode on the card at the check-in desks. Your cooperation in having your card available is greatly appreciated. Court Reservations: Court reservations may be made 72 hours in advance of play. This gives owners time to schedule and confirm your game. Doubles reservations during morning prime time at the Harker Courts may be scheduled for 1½ hours at 8:30 am and 10:00 am to enable more favorable court usage. Doubles reservations at the Village Courts may be subject to the 8:30 am and 10:00 am limitations, depending on usage. Organized group play reservations may be made up to 30 days in advance. Reservations for organized group play is limited to no more than twice a week. Groups may reserve either hard courts or soft courts. Please contact the tennis pro for more information. Tennis Programs: New events are planned for 2016 and the tennis staff hopes all owners and their guests will get involved. Don t be shy; if you don t have a regular tennis partner or game, let the pros know and they will be happy to assist in introductions and help you get involved.
