1 Springfield Cricket Club Sponsorship Packages Season 2012

2 Springfield Cricket Club was formed by a group of friends posting adverts around a rapidly expanding village in Essex in 1960, and has been based at Coronation Park since Our senior section consists of 4 Saturday League XIs who participate in the T. Rippon Mid-Essex League, including the 1st XI in the Premier Division, as well as a Sunday League XI competing in the PiriPiri North Essex Cricket League and a Sunday Friendly XI. Springfield has a large, well established Colts section. In 2011 we fielded 7 sides ranging from under-9s to under-15s and an under-16 side playing in the Essex County Matchplay. Springfield Funsters Disability Cricket Team has been established recently making Springfield the only club in Central Essex with a full disability cricket team. Along with weekly training sessions the team also plays matches around Essex. The clubhouse, housing a full bar and catering facilities, was built in 1971 and extended in 1983 it provides a strong social side to the club throughout the year to assist with voluntary work when required. The following pages outline a range of sponsorship packages on offer for the upcoming season. 3 Springfield Cricket Club Exposure On the field: 4 x Saturday teams in T. Rippon Mid-Essex League Cover a large area of Central, Southern and Eastern Essex 72 League games per season from the start of May, to the start of September Divisions, Premier, 3, 5 and x Sunday League team Plays 16 League games in the Piri Piri North Essex Cricket League, as well as up to 5 Cup games Covers Northern, Central and Western Essex Playing in Division 2 Competing in the inaugural Piri Piri twenty20 Cup with a potential Finals Day during Essex County Cricket Club s Cricket Week at Castle Park, Colchester 1 x Sunday Friendly team Plays teams from Essex, Hertfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Outer London Active from April until end of September 1 x Annual Tour Past destinations include Romania, Czech Republic, Croatia and Slovenia Play against a mixture of ex-pat and local cricketers A number of Essex based players also join us on tour May 2012 also sees the start of the Vis 6 s competition based in Croatia consisting of 12 teams from across Europe competing over a 4 day period, including a further 2 teams from Essex. Colts Age groups from under 9 s to under 15 s playing regular games in the Central Essex District Cricket Board league Development side aimed at youngsters using soft balls to learn the basic skills of the game before moving to hard ball cricket Under 13 s and under 16 s compete in Essex County Cricket Club competitions with a potential Final at the Essex County Ground.

4 Springfield Cricket Club Exposure Off the field: During the year the clubhouse is open every evening and weekend to our 500 members and guests. Our new website is now live which we aim to be a key element of exposure for both the club and potential sponsors. We plan to make the website the hub of our club, with all players having to go online weekly to check selection and advise on their availability. This will allow us to inform all members of upcoming social events and news. Coronation Park, the home of Springfield Cricket Club has 2 pitches which are in constant use throughout the season. Along with our own players, this brings up to 44 other players per weekend to the club. The ground is shared with Chelmsford Rugby Club who often train during the summer weekends and hire their clubhouse out to large parties. It is also popular for dog walkers around the local area and has a large children s play area. President s Day is celebrated annually with a large focus on family. The day brings together players from the club s history to play against our current 1 st team, and a social side to play against our Sunday 2 nd team. During the morning we have 2 colt s games and these players and their families also stay for the majority of the day. We have a successful Cribbage team representing our club competing weekly in Division 1 of the Chelmsford & District League which consists of 14 teams competing between September and April. Spring Chicks Female rounder s club formed in 2011 Competing in the JJ Ladies Rounder s League based across Essex with matches weekly from May to August. All home games played at Coronation Park. A number of our 14 England & Wales Cricket Board Coaches regularly work in local schools taking Breakfast Club coaching sessions through the Chance To Shine Educating Through Cricket national scheme.

5 Sponsorship Packages for 2012: Club: 5,000 Our club package is designed to create a bond between the club and the sponsor. We are looking for a company to sponsor clubhouse upgrades, most notably our beer cellar and bar area. Headline logo advertising on the Springfield CC website and across all correspondence, i.e. letterheads, newsletters Company logo across the shoulders of Springfield CC playing shirts supplied to senior members on payments of subscriptions and other clothing distributed through Springfield CC Advertising banner outside the clubhouse on match days Advertising banner inside the clubhouse all year round This package is for 10 years Senior: 2,000 This package is designed to give the sponsor maximum exposure through visibility across all 6 senior teams. Company logo on the front of Springfield CC shirts supplied to senior members on payments of subscriptions and other clothing distributed through Springfield CC Logo advertising on the club website with direct hyperlink to the sponsors website or company details Advertising banner outside the clubhouse on match days Advertising banner inside the clubhouse all year round This package is for 2 years

6 Sponsorship Packages for 2012: President s Week: 19th-22nd July A highlight of the club s season, President s Day brings together the senior and junior sections to celebrate Springfield CC. A popular family day enjoyed throughout the club. The week also includes an inter-club game and an all day game continuing our relationship with a local side. We would be delighted to be joined by representatives of the company to enjoy President s Day and the hospitality on offer. This will go towards the cost of operations such as pitch hire, balls and teas. We hope to welcome representatives from the company along to enjoy the cricket and hospitality.
