2 INTRODUCTION Edinburgh South Cricket Club coaches, Karl Marais and Colin Mills, have put together a skills, games and fun based programme for boys and girls for the first 2 weeks of the summer holidays at Inch Park. Karl and Colin are qualified to UKCC level 2 (equivalent) and bring a variety of skills and experience to this first venture for the club. Activities have been planned for boys and girls aged between 6 and 12, although if you have slightly younger or older children who want to take part we are happy to discuss this. We will focus on building up batting, bowling and fielding skills which we will then incorporate into fun cricket games. We will also spend time working on fitness and will use other games and sports e.g. eurohoc in addition to general fitness drills. Our emphasis will always be on participation and fun. Our aim is that each child leaves our sessions looking forward to coming back again the next day.

3 INFORMATION Cricket Mania! will run for 2 weeks: Week 1 Monday 4 July to Friday 8 July Week 2 Monday 11 July to Friday 15 July Each day will run from 9am to 3.30pm Each child should bring a packed lunch, drinks, protective equipment, comfortable sports clothing and footwear. Layers are recommended as are waterproofs, hat and sun cream! All equipment will be provided but you can bring your own too. We have booked Inch Park Community Sports Club and will use this facility in the event of bad weather. Availability is limited to 24 children per day, so book early to avoid disappointment.

4 COST The cost for each week will be 130 The cost for Edinburgh South Cricket Stars will be 120 each week There will be a sibling discount of 10 Discount for booking both weeks will be 10 Daily cost will be 30 but only where places are available Each weekly participant will receive an exclusive Cricket Mania! T-shirt We have booked Inch Park Community Sports Club for use if the weather does not allow us to go outdoors. Alternative activities will be provided and in such instances no refunds will be offered should your child not wish to attend. Cricket Mania! is not for profit and all money raised, after expenses are paid out, will go to Edinburgh South Cricket Stars to help promote and develop cricket in the South of Edinburgh.

5 TERMS AND CONDITIONS In the highly unlikely circumstances that we have to cancel the event, you will be given a full refund. If you would like to cancel your child's place on the event you must inform us at least 5 days prior to the day he/she is due to attend. Once the event starts no refunds can be given. All children should behave appropriately towards coaches and their peers on the event. The coaching staff will inform parents if their child's behaviour is unacceptable and reserve the right to remove a child from sessions or the event entirely if that child's behaviour proves disruptive to the others. In such an instance no refund will be given. The camps run from 9.00am to 3:30pm and our coaching team is only there to supervise the children during these hours. The coaches and the club are not responsible for personal injury, loss or damage to property whilst your child attends the course.
