COLLEGE, PANCHAVATI, NASIK-03 GYMKHANA REPORT (2013/2014) It is a matter of great pleasure & privilege for me to present the Annual Report of Gymkhana Dept. for the year Our College is known not only as the source of intellectual growth & development of the students but also known for the physical development of the students through various sports activities. It is an excellent amalgamation of these two elements which leads us to generate a good message to the society. The present year enriched the glorious tradition of our College in the field of sports. Various sports events have been organized by our college. Many students have participated in the various sports events. The details of sports events, participation & Organization are given as follows:- 21 Teams of various sports (i.e.kabaddi,kick-boxing, Cricket, Football, Mallakhamb, Chess, Athletics, Judo, Softball, Baseball, Squash, Badminton, Swimming, Boxing, Weight Lifting, Power Lifting, Best Physique, and Rowing etc.) have participated in the Nashik Zone Inter-collegiate competitions. 173 players have participated in the various Inter-Collegiate competitions. 31 players were selected for the various Inter-zonal Competitions organized by the University of Pune. 13 players were selected for the various state Competitions organized by the Maharashtra state. 10 players of our College were selected for the All Indian Inter-University competitions to represent the University of Pune. 05 players of our College were selected for the National competitions to represent the Maharashtra. 2 5) KOMAL KAMBLE (T.Y.B.COM) WEIGHT LIFTING 6) HITESH NIKAM (T.Y.B.COM) BEST PHYSIQUE 7) CHAUDHARY SANDEEP (S.Y.B.A) ROWING 8) KADALE SANTOSH (F.Y.B.A) ROWING 9) RAUT SAGAR (F.Y.B.A) ROWING 10) MALODE DEEPAK (T.Y.B.A) ROWING 04 player of our college were selected for the open National Level Competition. Name of the State players are :- 1) RUPESH JAGTAP (S.Y.B.COM) SOFTBALL 2) TEJAS SURVE (S.Y.B.A) SOFTBALL 3) KUSHAL MALI (S.Y.B.COM) SOFTBALL 4) AHER SATISH (T.Y.B.COM) FOOTBALL Special achievement Our Cricket (Men) team also won the Winner Trophy at the Invitation Cricket Tournament organized by B.Y.K. College, Nasik & also won the 1, 00,000/- Rs. cash prize. Our student Nilesh chuvan got best ballwer and Captain Ketan Kasture got best player of the tournament. Every year on large basis NDCA organize a Nasik Premium league of Cricket tournament this year from our college 09 players were got selected for this and also our student Nilesh Chuvan was a best batsman of the tournament. Year During the Nasik Festival our college student Mohhamad Shaikh declared as a best bellower the tournament.

3 Our Best Physique player HITESH NIKAM who selected for the Varsity squad made the historic achievement & grab the Gold Medal second time at Inter-Group Best Physique Competition. In the Nashik Zone Inter-Collegiate Cricket (Men) Competition our Cricket team holds the Runner-up title. Our 02 Players hold the first position in Nashik Zone Inter-Collegiate Boxing (52 kg) Our 05 Players hold the first position in Nasik Zone Inter-Collegiate Judo competition. (64 kg,75 kg,80 kg) 02 players of Athletics (Javelin throw), 02 players of Weight-Lifting (82 kg, 52kg) & 01 player of Best Physique (85 kg) Competitions hold the first position in Nashik Zone Inter-Collegiate. Besides participation in various sports events, our college also organized Nashik zone Inter-collegiate Cricket Competition were 42 teams of various colleges are participated. We also organized Inter-Class Cricket, Throw ball, Volleyball & Chess Competition were 520 students are participated.
