Following a decision by the BTBA Executive, Freefall and String averages will both be accepted without differentation for all handicap tournaments as from 1st August They will be subject to the usual lane certification process. Photography Policy Please be aware before, during and after the event there could be filming, action photography or video taken of participants and medal winners by anyone attending the event, either as an official spectator,parent or guardian. If you (as a participant, parent or guardian) object to this, you must make your objections known to the tournamnt manager prior to the event starting and reasonable adjustments will be made. 2 Tournament Rules and Conditions 1. All bowlers must be under 22 on the 31stAugust 2019, and must be members of the B.T.B.A. Membership proof will be taken from the members list. Any bowler not a member will not be eligble for ranking points. Points will not be awarded retrospectively 2. Closing date for entries is the 26th September Any incomplete entries will not be Squadded until all information is supplied. Partial entries will go to the back of the queue. Entry fees will not be refunded once players have been squadded. 3 Registration will be 30 mins prior to squad time. If all bowlers are present and registered then bowling may commence earlier than published times. Latecomers will commence game at the frame in progress. Alterations should be notified to the tournament manager at least 72 hrs prior to date of bowling. 4 Competitors who, in the opinion of the tournament manager are not dressed in the correct attire in the playing area, will not be permitted to bowl. Shirts should bear the name of the players YBC or their name. Casual shorts or Denim clothing of any description will not be permitted, However skirts, skorts or tailored shorts may be allowed 5 No competitor will be allowed to smoke or consume alcoholic beverages anywhere in the centre during the tournament. Any breach of this rule will result in immediate disqualification, Profane language or abuse of bowling equipment/machinery may also result in disqualification of the individual from the tournament. Any disqualification may result in loss of scores / awards. Any bowler whose conduct is considered as bringing the game into disrepute will be disqualified from the tournament and reported to the B.T.B.A. for consideration of disciplinary procedure. 6 Protests of any nature must be lodged to the tournament manager within 30 mins of the problem occurring and confirmed in writing before the presentation commences. A provisional ball must be rolled if a dispute relating to pinfall can not be resolved immediately. 7 Only tournament officials and one LICENSED instructor / coach per team will be allowed in the bowlers area (rule 333). 8. Points will be awarded for all bowlers in line with the current N.A.Y.B.C. ranking guidelines. 9 Trophies will be awarded to the First three in all sections (singles, doubles, four man team and individual all events In the event of a tie winners will be decided by the highest low game. 10 Bowlers must declare their highest average in any league / Tournament / Merit list on the day of bowling. Over 21 games. ( This includes Adult leagues) An up to date standing sheet MUST be sent to the tournament manager seven days prior to date of bowling. 11 Competitors must have already bowled in the tournament before they can pace No entry fees will be returned once a squad time has been agreed, Except in the case of the tournament being cancelled. The tournament will be scratch throughout with bowlers being placed in the above average groups. 6. Bowling Order. Bowlers must bowl in the order declared on the entry form in all sections. 7.
