PERIOD AND VENUE OF TOURNAMENT a) Dates / Times b) Venue: SuperBowl, Level 3, SAFRA Toa Payoh c) The Organising Committee, at its discretion, reserves the right to change the date, time, and venue of the tournament, if such need arises. The SAFRA Toa Payoh SuperBowl Bowling Tournament 2019 will be held from 1 Apr to 11 May 2019 as per the following schedule: Day / Date Master Qualifiers Mon, 1 Apr to Sat, 11 May 2019 Stage Master Qualifiers Mon - Thu (10am to 11pm) Fri & Sat (10am to 7pm) No. of Lanes : Max 4 Lanes ( Subject to availability) Not applicable for Sundays & Public Holidays. *Registration Fees: $15 (SAFRA Member) $25 (Guest) *Registration to be made at any SAFRA Customer Service Counter. **Game Fees: $20 per 3 Game Series **Fees exclude practice throws & subjected to lane availability. Payment for Game fees to be made at only SuperBowl at SAFRA Toa Payoh. Not applicable for any other SuperBowl outlets. ELIGIBILTY OF PARTICIPANTS a) This tournament is open to all Singapore Citizens & Singapore PR only. b) Player(s) must produce identity card during registration. c) The average of a bowler must be and below. d) The SBF computed averages as at 30 June 2018 would be the official reference for all averages (subject to a minimum of 18 games). e) Bowlers without the minimum 18 games in the official SBF average computation as at 30 June 2018 must submit certified confirmation, showing the scores of all previous SBF sanctioned league(s)/tournaments they had participated in. These scores will then be used by the Tournament Director to update the official SBF average computation to determine the bowlers latest average. The onus is on the bowler to ensure that the scores of all the game bowled are submitted. The bowlers will then be permitted to bowl in the grade according to their average so determined. f) It is the responsibility of the bowler to ensure and confirm their average. In the event that an Open Bowler is registered in the Graded Division, he/she will be disqualified. g) Irrespective of average, a bowler who has won Graded/Open Masters in an SBF, ABF/WTBA sanctioned tournament within the last 1 year (1 Jan Dec 2018), will not be allowed to participate in this Graded Tournament. The onus shall be that of the bowler to ascertain whether he/she is qualified to bowl in the tournament under this rule. 3. EVENT CATEGORIES S/N Category No. of Qualifiers 1 Master Qualifiers - 2 Grand Finals 36 3 FFL Family Challenge (pairs) REGISTRATION OF ENTRIES a) The registration fee payable at any SAFRA Customer Service Counter is as follows: SAFRA Members Guests $15.00 $25.00 *Fees are inclusive of 7% GST b) The duly completed entry forms, together with payment, shall be submitted to the front desk of any of the four SAFRA clubs, open from 9am - 9pm daily. A receipt will be issued. c) Please refer to SAFRA s website at and the notice board around SAFRA Toa Payoh s clubhouse for more information. d) Late, unclear and incomplete submission of the official entry form will not be accepted. 4 5. TOURNAMENT SYSTEM a) This tournament is to be a 10 pin-tap tournament. Any pins lesser than 10 on the first throw, then the normal spare conversion are required to complete the frames as in normal games. b) All lady bowlers will be given a 10-pin handicap for every game or score not exceeding 300 pin falls. Ladies handicap will not account for the perfect game. 6. TOURNAMENT RULES a) All players are requested to bring along their identification documents for verification, failing which they will not be allowed to play. b) All matches will be played in accordance with the posted schedule. Postponement of any matches will be at the discretion of the Organising Committee. c) Uncompleted games will not be refunded unless games are cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances or acts of God. d) Bowlers are required to be properly and appropriately dressed for bowling. If in the opinion of the Tournament Director, a bowler is not properly and appropriately dressed, he/she may not be permitted to bowl. e) Should there be a tie in any of the top 36 qualifies or the final, the winner shall be determined by the highest game bowled during the qualifying round. If this still ends in a tie, the next highest game will be counted and this will go on till the tie is broken. f) The decision of the officials shall be deemed as final. 7. 5 8. SUPPLEMENTARY RULES a) The Organising Committee reserves the right to interpret or amend the rules and regulations of the tournament at any time. Notifications of such changes will be posted on the tournament website. It is the sole responsibility of the participant to visit the SAFRA Toa Payoh website for any notices or changes to draws or schedules. Any changes will be posted at least 24 hours before the rescheduling. b) While reasonable precautions will be taken, SAFRA, and its agents will not be responsible or in any way liable for any death, disability, personal injury, loss of property or any loss howsoever arising from any cause whatsoever at any time during the course of this tournament. c) Any matter arising, which is not covered in this tournament R&R, the Tournament Director, whose decision shall be final, will decide the regulation. d) Please if you need further clarifications.
