FOX CUBS A FUN introduction to Cricket for 4-6 (parents to join in if they wish) and 7-9 year olds. All sessions only 5! Combining professional coaching with learning the fundamentals of cricket. Perfect for those just starting out in the game. These after-school sessions offer fun games and activities to develop hand-eye coordination and key skills needed to enjoy and excel in all sports - especially cricket - using Softballs and Incrediballs. Led by ECB Level 2 and 3 coaches. Sessions for 4-6 year olds Thursday evenings: 4pm-5pm 26th January-6th April 2017 Sessions for 7-9 year olds Friday evenings: 4pm-5pm 27th January-7th April 2017 Saturday Morning Sessions 4-6 year olds: 9am-10am. 7-9 year olds: 10am-11am 13th May-26th August 2017 FOX CLINICS 13th -17th February 2017 Under 11, Under 13 and Under 16 sessions Only 20 per session! 3 hour Under 11, Under 13 and Under 16 sessions for boys and girls of all abilities. Taking place over half terms and school holidays, these hard and soft ball sessions include 20 minutes bowling drills, 20 minutes batting drills, 40 minutes fielding and 90 minutes nets - together with indoor match scenarios and video analysis. Led by ECB Level 2 and 3 coaches and held in the Mike Turner Cricket Centre. Bigger and even better in 2017! Open to boys and girls aged 6-14 and of all abilities. The camps will cover all aspects of bowling, batting, fielding and wicket keeping as well as match play scenarios led by ECB Level 2 and 3 coaches plus guest appearances by LCCC pros. Focussing on specific areas of the game, from spin or seam bowling, to wicket keeping, to batting (front foot, back foot, bat v spin), where current and former professional players lead the sessions. Held in the Mike Turner Cricket Centre and featuring a range of top coaches as well as former and current players James Taylor, Josh Cobb, Ben Raine, Neil Dexter, Jigar Naik, Lewis Hill, Clint Mckay and many more... Special guest Paul Nixon will be delivering the Batting and Wicket Keeping Clinics. LCCC PATHWAYS PROGRAMME The Leicestershire Pathways is designed to offer boys and girls of Leicestershire and Rutland a coaching pathway to help fulfil their individual potential. Players are nominated by their Club, School or a member of the Leicestershire and Rutland coaching staff to join an 18 week winter training programme. Nominated players will be split into three skillset groups (Gold, Silver and Bronze) in dual age groups: U10s, 12s, U14s, 16s and U19s. The coaching groups will aim to help young players take their game to new levels using the same stateof-the-art facilities and training techniques as their cricketing heroes. Coaches delivering the programme will be our existing County Age Group Coaches with current and ex-professionals. Sessions will be held in various centres around the county, and led by ECB Level2, 3 and 4 Coaches ONE-TO-ONE COACHING AND GROUP SESSIONS Individual and group coaching in the Mike Turner Cricket Centre is available for all age groups. These sessions are booked on an hourly or halfhourly basis with an individual coach and bowling machine (if required). Sessions may be booked in bulk and a regular weekly slot may be available but not guaranteed. All bookings are based strictly on individual coach availability and at certain times of the year availability may be limited. ECB Level 2 Coach 30 per hour / 15 per half hour session ECB Level 3 Coach per hour / 20 per half hour session ECB Level 4 Coach 50 per hour / 25 per half hour session Bespoke Group Coaching Minimum group of six players. 4 MATCH DAY COACHING CLINICS Leicestershire CCC are pleased to offer an exclusive match day experience for players of all abilities before all home NatWest Blast T20 matches at the Fischer County Ground Grace Road. Using the Cricket Centre and the outfield, these sessions are designed to help develop core skills and decision making. They will include technical and tactical batting and bowling, plus fielding and movement skills. As if that isn t enough, participants will then be able to watch the likes of Mark Cosgrove, Clint McKay and Lewis Hill putting the kind of skills just practiced in the coaching clinic into action on the pitch for the Foxes in the NatWest Blast T20 competition.
