TENDER NOTICE On behalf of the President of India, Head of Sports Section, Daman hereby invites sealed Tender for Supply of Sports Materials and equipment in Daman District for the year The blank tender form alongwith terms & Conditions can be obtained from the office of Head of Sports Section, Moti Daman from to during the office hours on all working days on payment of Rs. 100/- as a Tender fees (Non-Refundable). The Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) of Rs. 10, is payable with the tender issued by the Scheduled Bank in favour of Head of Sports, Daman. Tender received without EMD will be treated as invalid. The last date of receipt of tender is at 1.00 pm at office of Head of Sports, Daman & same will be opened on the same day at 5.00 pm if Possible. Sealed tender is hereby invited by the Head of Sports Department, Daman for supply of Sports materials as per Annexure I & II attached from reputed brands for the use of Sports department, Daman, with the following conditions. 1. The tender should be in a sealed envelops subscribed as Supply of Sports Materials. 2. The blank tender form along with terms and conditions can be obtained form the office of the Head of Sports, Sports Club, Moti Daman to during office hours on all working days on payment of Rs. 100/- as a Tender fees (Non-Refundable). 3. The rates should be strictly for free delivery at the office of the Head of Sports, Daman and rates quoted should be valid up to The order will be placed by this office as and when required basis. 4. The rates quoted should be inclusive of all taxes. 5. VAT will be paid on the items on which it is chargeable under the rate of VAT as applicable as per Daman & Diu Value Added Tax Regulation, No extra charges for packing, forwarding and insurance etc. will be paid on the rates quoted. 7. The rates should be quoted only for the items specified in the list or requirements and should be for the items of given specification/mark/manufacture as per the design. 8. Where specification/make/manufacture is not specified by this office, the rates should be quoted only for the standard quality. 9. The Head of Sports, Daman will be at liberty to accept the tender for the entire quantity or the part thereof at the rates submitted by the bidder or at reduced rate during the negotiations if any. 10. The decision of the Head of Sports, Daman for acceptance / rejection of any articles supplied including the decision for equivalent specifications, standards and quality etc., of articles shall be final. 11. Successful bidder will have to sign an agreement with the purchaser within 3 days of the receipt of the supply order. 12. The suppliers of any materials/ goods of inferior quality/standard or of different specifications other than that ordered specified and/or incomplete or broken will not be accepted. The supplier will have to replace the same at his cost and risk. Intimation of non acceptance within three days from the date of receipt in the stores and the same will have to be taken back by the supplier at his cost and risk. However, if no communication is received from the supplier within 7 days from the date of communication of non-

3 acceptance, the Head of Sports, Daman will not be responsible for any damage, loss etc., of such rejected materials/goods. 13. In case of failure to replace the unaccepted and rejected articles from supplier make, as mentioned in the conditions the loss undergone by the Government will be recovered from the supplier. 14. In case failure to supply the materials/goods/articles/items ordered for as per conditions and within the stipulated time, the same will be obtained, if required, from the limit tender who offered next higher rates or from any other sources as may be decided by the Secretary (Sports), Daman and the loss to the Government on account of such purchase(s) shall be recovered from the former supplier. The supplier shall have no right to dispute such procedure. 15. The Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) of Rs. 10, is payable with the tender issued by the Scheduled Bank in favour of Head of Sports, Daman. Tender received without EMD will be treated as invalid. 16. The tender will be received upto 1.00 p.m. on in the office of the Head of Sports, Moti Daman. The tender will be opened at 5:00 p.m. on the same day if possible. 17. Extension of time limit for supplier may be considered by the Head of Sports, Daman provided such request is made well in time, depending upon the circumstance and his decision in the matter will be final. 18. All bills should be in TRIPLICATE and should invariably mention the number and date of limit tender for supply placed by the Head of Sports, Daman All bills for amount above Rs.5000/- should be pre-receipt on a revenue stamp or proper value. 19. In respect of any dispute given rise to the legal proceedings between the parties, the courts at Daman shall alone have the jurisdiction.
