2 What is Bowl for Kids Sake? Have Fun For All The Right Reasons Build awareness of your brand Generate some friendly competition and team spirit Share a memorable social event with co-workers and friends Support a great cause and impact the lives of others Bowl for Kids Sake is a bowl-a-thon style event where participants form teams, or join existing teams, and everyone raises pledges in advance (or makes a donation) for their participation! Anyone can do this! The bowling score doesn t matter, because with this event It s not about the bowling it s about the kids! About Bowl for Kids Sake While we re not about the bowling score, this is a chance to have some serious fun and teams are encouraged to come up with funny team names, dress alike or in funny costumes, and really make this a night to remember. Prizes are awarded to our over-achievers! About Big Brothers Big Sisters Big Brothers Big Sisters provides children facing adversity with strong and enduring, professionally supported oneto-one relationships that change their lives for the better. Mentoring Matters. The children in our program are positively impacted by the long term presence of having a friend who is simply there for them, advocating on their behalf, and spending quality one-to-one time together. 3 Sponsorship Details With all of our sponsorship levels, companies are encouraged to use Bowl for Kids Sake as an employee activity as well as a community outreach event. Sponsoring a Bowl for Kids Sake event makes great cents because your group is positioned as not only a savvy marketer, is also a visible community partner, supporting a great cause. Attendee Demographics Bowl for Kids Sake is one of the largest fundraisers held annually for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Middle Tennessee. Drawing Power This fun program attracts participants from not only Davidson County but also Wilson, Cheatham, Dickson, Rutherford, Williamson and Robertson Counties. Potential sponsors have opportunities to present their brand to very important clientele Stats Bowl for Kids Sake raised $170,000! 600 bowlers 150 different teams 12 different bowling events Participants range in age from 18 to 65, with 40% in the 30 to 40 age range. Participants came from a diverse background, including over 20 different occupational and social fields: insurance, labor, music, fraternal, retail, consultants, media, college, law, hotel, bank, industry, health, engineering, wholesale, transportation, architects, sorority, fast food, foundations, commercial real estate, and automotive.
