1 OVENS & MURRAY BOWLS REGION PROCEDURES FOR ENTERING PLAYER NAMES AND BOWLS RESULTS (Amendment 1 15 Oct 17) Page 1

2 You need to access the Ovens and Murray Region Inc Website Competition webpage. This can be done through the Regions website Home Page at It is recommended that you Bookmark this page on computers/devices that may be used to enter teams and results. TO ACCESSING SCREENS To access the Competition Web Page click here THE COMPETITION WEB PAGE This page is used to gain access to enter teams/results. Page 2

3 ENTERING PLAYER NAMES 1. Identify Division to enter teams. 2. Click on Fixtures to go to Fixtures Round view. FIXTURE ROUND VIEW Ensure correct round is selected Click on Entry/Edit Pencil to open login screen. Page 3

4 LOGIN SCREEN Insert Username and Password provided by Pennant Committee. Note: separate password for each Division. SCORES ENTRY AND TEAM ENTRY SCREEN VIEW ENTERING TEAMS To enter teams select Team Page 4

5 PLAYER/TEAM ENTRY SCREEN Select Members to enter sides. MEMBERSHIP SCREEN When you enter this screen your club active members should appear. In the advent there are no members or a particular member is not listed contact your club secretary to check the members financial status. If financial the secretary may need to make the member active. Page 5

6 ALLOCATING MEMBERS TO THE SIDE Select team members required for side by clicking here. Don t worry about position allocations at this point. ALLOCATING PLAYER POSITIONS Locate players in team positions by dragging and dropping member. Once all players are positioned then save. Unfortunately, the team sheet format is not suitable for Bowls use To go back to the Competition Web Page click on Pennant Fixtures & Results Menu. Page 6

7 COPYING NAMES FOR SUBSEQUENT ROUNDS COPYING TO SUBSEQUENT ROUNDS If you have put the side in once you can copy it for subsequent games. Log in and navigate to round 2, click on the results pencil and Team and then click on Copy Previous Team SIDE FOR NEXT WEEK For a Bowler not in the side this week click on the red button to remove. Then click on Members to find the replacement player. When names are correct move players to correct positions as needed. When finished save player positions. Page 7

8 HOME SIDE RESULTS ENTRY THE COMPETITION WEB PAGE This page is used to gain access to enter teams/results. TO ENTER RESULTS 1. Identify Division to enter Results. 2. Click on Fixtures to go to Fixtures Round view. Page 8

10 ALIGN TEAMS The teams need to be aligned prior to entering the scores. Once signed in you will see the following screen. Prior to entering the results it is necessary to align the teams that played one another. Click Team to bring up the two teams per the next screen. Both Sides Teams should be visible if they have been entered prior to the game. To align the teams with the cards the Home Side must drag their members to align with the opponent team members. Note: that dragging the players name over another name the names will be exchanged. Once the teams are aligned then the results can be entered per the next screen. Ensure that you note team numbers for each rink to align results with the relevant teams. Suggest the score cards be endorsed with the team number for ease of results entry Page 10

11 SCORES ENTRY AND TEAM ENTRY SCREEN VIEW ENTERING RESULTS To enter results ensure you have this screen, if not click Match ENTERING RESULTS Select relative Result before scores can be Enter shots. Once shots entered Points etc will calculate automatically. Once scores are entered save results and then Submit as per next steps. Page 11

12 SUBMITTING RESULTS Submit Results - Once you save Results & Scores, click on Submit. Confirm Results Once you SUBMIT results then the Confirm Results Comments box will display. There is no need to insert comments. Click on Submit to finalise results entry. Page 12

13 AWAY SIDE - RESULT CONFIRMATION THE COMPETITION WEB PAGE This page is used to gain access to enter teams/results. TO CONFIRM RESULTS 1. Identify Division to confirm results 2. Click on Fixtures to go to Fixtures Round view. Page 13

14 FIXTURE ROUND VIEW Ensure correct round is selected Click on Entry/Edit Pencil to open login screen. LOGIN SCREEN Insert Username and Password provided by Pennant Committee. Note: separate password for each Division. Once signed in the next screen will appear showing results entered by the Home Side. Page 14

15 CONFIRMING RESULTS Check results then confirm or dispute result. If confirmed then log off. If disputed a Comment screen will be displayed. Enter details of the dispute and contact Home Side Captain and advise of the disputed item. After you click Confirm Result a confirm Results box will display as a final prompt if ok - hit Submit Note: If a dispute occurs then the Home Side will need to agree and log on and correct the result. Once done the Away Side can then log on and confirm the amended result. Page 15
