In the event that the final is drawn or tied, the team deemed to be No 1 after the preliminary final, will be deemed the premiership winners. In the event of teams finishing the competition on the same points the NSWDCA quotient system shall apply: Quotient= Total runs scored by team Total runs scored against team Total wickets lost by team divided by Total wickets taken by team The Honorary Secretary shall draw all competitions. 6. WET WEATHER If the Executive Committee declares the first Saturday of any round except semi finals, preliminary finals & finals unfit for play, then all play is cancelled for the day. 7. ALLOCATION OF GROUNDS The team occurring first on the draw shall be deemed the home team. The semi finals and finals will be played on grounds as decided by the Executive Committee with consideration given to the highest grades playing on the best available grounds. 8. SPECIAL CONDITIONS OF PLAY (a) The team batting first must bat for at least one hour (unless dismissed beforehand) before declaring their innings closed. (b) The team batting first (in a scheduled two day competition round) must declare their innings closed after having batted for eighty (80) overs in their 1 st innings except as provided in limited over matches. This rule does not apply to semi finals, preliminary finals & finals. (c) The captain of the fielding team may elect to take a new or old ball of suitable quality at the commencement of the innings and/or after sixty (60) overs have been bowled or two hundred (200) runs scored. (d) All boundaries shall count as four runs except when a ball is hit and lands beyond and clear of the agreed boundary line it shall be counted as six runs. (e) The team, which bats first and leads by seventy-five (75) runs or more, shall have the option of requiring the other team to follow on their innings. (f) A team may declare their innings closed on the second day of the match and play shall commence as per Rule 2 providing that Rule 8(a) has been complied with. Competing teams must be at the ground in sufficient time to make the necessary arrangements at the appointed time. (g) Should a wicket fall within two minutes at the appointed time set down for the drawing of stumps and an incoming batsman not be in attendance the team shall be declared all out on appeal. (h) Substitute fieldsmen shall be allowed as per the Laws of Cricket provided that the substitute is qualified by age and is a registered member of the Association with the Club for which he is substitute fielding. (i) If the bowling team commences an innings with less than 11 players in the field and another player arrives late, such player may bowl as soon as he takes the field regardless of how late he was.

4 9. 40 OVERS MATCHES In the event that the ground (as drawn) is unfit for play on the first Saturday of any scheduled two week competition match the second Saturday shall be played as a forty (40) over limited fixture. Playing hours 1.00pm to 6.30pm under the following conditions: If the condition of the ground, weather or bad light causes a loss of time during the innings of the team batting first, then the over quota shall be adjusted by deducting one over for every six (6) minutes time lost, there being no set time for the completion of the innings. Provided, however, that nothing in this paragraph shall prevent the team batting first from receiving a minimum of twenty (20) overs if not dismissed beforehand. If conditions prevent the team batting second from receiving their full quota of overs the match shall be decided by a comparison of the run rate of BOTH teams. These run rates are calculated by dividing the total number of runs scored by the number of overs bowled. For the purposes of the run rate calculations, only each legitimate ball bowled shall count as one- sixth of an over. Where a team has been dismissed or has declared its innings closed before receiving its full quota of overs, its run rate shall be calculated by dividing the total number of runs scored by the QUOTA number of overs that it should have received. All this provided that a MINIMUM of twenty (20) overs have been completed by each team and provided that play shall cease at the completion of the over in progress at the time specified in Rule 2 for end of play, unless five (5) or less overs remain to be bowled. In this case play shall continue until the team batting second receives their quota of overs or a result is achieved. If more than five (5) overs remain to be bowled at the designated finishing time the game shall cease at the completion of the over in progress at the time. If each team has completed less than twenty (20) overs the match shall be deemed to have been drawn unless a result has been achieved. The game is deemed to be over once a first innings result is achieved. NOTES: (1) Rule 3 (b) (Drink Break) shall apply to matches played under this format. (2) No bowler may bowl more than one fifth (1/5 th ) of the scheduled overs in any innings. 10. Team sheets The captain of each team can declare twelve (12) players on the team sheet, which is to be exchanged 10 minutes before the match is scheduled to commence and prior to the tossing of the coin. The twelve (12) nominated players can be used in any way in an innings during the match, with only (11) eleven allowed to bay bowl or field in each innings of the match. Under this rule each innings is regarded as separate so a different eleven (11) can bat and bowl in the second innings as opposed to the first. Sides may nominate 12 players for all games. 11. Score sheets / results (a) Scorebooks must be signed by the official umpire if present or by the opposing captain in his absence. (b) Match results along with full details of batting and bowling are to be recorded on the MYcricket website by 9pm on the Tuesday after each match. The results are to be checked by both teams and confirmed. Any disputed games are to be referred to the Executive committee no later than 9pm the day after the game. Failure to lodge a result on time will result in a fine. (c) ALL Clubs are required to phone results to the secretary or his appointee no later than 9.00 pm on the day of the completion of the match. Failure to phone / / SMS results will incur a fine as determined from time to time by the executive committee. 12. Forfeits (a) Play shall not commence unless opposing teams have six (6) declared players in attendance at the scheduled starting time on each day. Any team having less than six declared players in attendance shall be deemed to have forfeited the match. (b) Absence of a team on any day of the match shall be deemed to be a forfeit by such team with allocation of points to be determined by the executive committee. (c) The toss will be conducted 10 minutes before the scheduled commencement of play. A team with fewer than 6 players in attendance OR no completed team sheet at that time will forfeit the toss. (d) Teams not ready to start the game at the proposed start time will forfeit the toss to the opposition. In the event of 15 minutes past the start time has elapsed and the opposition are not ready to play a forfeit may be claimed. 13 BOWLING RESTRICTIONS (a) (i) Players aged under 14 as at 31 st August
