Note: if this percentage changes after the commencement of the competition the qualification does NOT change. For eg. J. Smith plays two third grade and one second grade match before the first T20 match. With 66% of his games in third grade, he is able to play in the Astro competition. He then plays two more second grade games and no more third grade games before the last round of the T20 changing his percentage to 40% but his qualification remains as an Astro player Players must play at their graded level or higher in these competitions Players may play in both competitions, irrespective of round number, this includes, semi s and Grand Final To qualify for finals, players must have played at least one T20 match Players who qualify for the Astro T20 finals, may play finals in the Turf T20 finals, but player who qualify for the Turf competition only may play only in the Turf competition Washout in either T20 competition count as a qualification day, subject to Rules 5.1.1, and SDCA All players and officials are bound by the SDCA Code of Behaviour, A to Z and Judicial Procedures documents, as well as the laws of cricket. In this
6 competition any breaches of these guiding rules, individuals or clubs may be cited, and, if found wanting, will be heard by the judiciary, if a report is made Averages and playing days will not count towards qualification of the SDCA main competition T20 playing days are not considered to be playing days for suspended players. Any player who is serving a suspension is not eligible to play in this competition Where a match is interrupted by weather or other events, the SDCA executive, where possible, will try and reschedule the match, however, the SDCA executive will solely determine re-scheduling or whether a match will continue on a separate day to get a result In the event of a washout during the semi-final, the higher placed team will proceed to the final In the event of a washout during the final, Rule 15.4 applies.
