We have updated our Henselite bag range including a new Mini and Trolley along with a few new colour choices to existing styles; we expect the range to have best seller potential. Everyone at Argyle t/a Greengauge thanks you for helping deliver an excellent upturn in sales last year. Greengauge, unlike other suppliers, can confirm that we are not going direct and hopefully this receives your support for the coming months and beyond. 08 sees Henselite extend its Choice of Champions clothing range with new colours in Jackets, Polo Shirts, Blouses and Waterproofs. We have also added to the range by incorporating fleeces in gents and ladies styling. Sports trousers were a best seller last year and the good news is that we have extended this range to include a Zipped version. Our best-selling Henselite Bowls Shoe range has been extended after taking into account views of Henselite sponsored players including Katherine Rednall who is assisting us with the design and material selection for ladies clothing and shoes going forward. The Prohawk brand has also been extended by our introduction of a new Gents style in two colours. Henselite continue to focus on product development and innovation, look out for our Henselite Premium and Lightweight shoe ranges which now have the addition of Impact X technology within the What a season for Team Henselite players with National, British and World Titles. Mark Dawes wins the prestigious World Indoor Singles having won the World Indoor Pairs with fellow Henselite star Jamie Chestney earlier in the week. Jamie then adds the World Indoor Mixed pairs title and the popular Katherine Rednall wins the World Indoor Ladies Singles for the third time. The players all used the TIGER range of bowls, including the new EVO model, which is becoming hugely popular. It proves once again that Henselite are the Choice of World Champions. 6 Henselite Bowls Tiger II Code A0/ A5HT The Tiger II bowl is the narrowest drawing bowl in the Henselite UK range and could be best described as holding a tight line. It has a draw line just inside the Classic II and offers a steady controlled finish. This makes the Tiger II a bowl that is most suited to fast surfaces and indoor bowling in particular, but is still used by many players all year round. 7 Henselite Bowls Classic TRL Code A0/A5HC The winner of more gold medals at World Bowls and Commonwealth Games than any other model has been given a minor name change and facelift but the traditional bias which has stood the test of time since 90 remains unchanged. With a traditional hook finish, it is an excellent wide drawing bowl for all outdoor surfaces and slow paced artificial or indoor surfaces. The model is ideal for attacking difficult heads as with weighted shots it holds a straighter line which is generally easier to control. Q. What is the best way to store and transport my bowls? A. Henselite Bowls Bags are specially designed to protect your bowls when they are being stored or transported. Place the bowls in the bag so that they ride on the running surface, not the engraving. This will protect the engraving from wear and tear. Q. What do I do if my bowls are in contact with sand or grit? A. To avoid the abrasive effect of sand or grit, wipe your bowls with a Henselite Polishing Cloth, Sleeve or Quick Dry Cloth before placing them in your case or bag. Ensure that the bottom of your bowls case or bag is free of sand or grit. Q. How do I retain the shine on my bowls? A. Regularly polish your bowls with Grippo using a Henselite Polishing Cloth or Sleeve to keep that new bowl sheen. If too much polish accumulates on your bowls, wash the bowls in hot water with soap or mild detergent (such as dishwashing liquid) then dry and polish as usual. Q. Light scratch marks have appeared on the running surface of my bowls. Is this normal? A. New, highly-polished bowls will always show slight scratch marks on the running surface after use. These marks in no way affect the performance of the bowl or indicate a problem with the bowl. They may usually be polished out using Grippo and a Henselite Polishing Cloth, Sleeve or Quick Dry Cloth or lightly rubbed with fine steel wool and then polished as usual enquiries@henselite.co.uk
