1 SKATE NEW SOUTH WALES ARTISTIC REQUIREMENTS FOR 2017 ELEMENTARY CHAMPIONSHIPS DATE: Saturday 20 th & Sunday 21 st May 2017 VENUE: Hawkesbury Indr Stadium 16 Stewart Street, Suth Windsr, NSW 2756 Penrith Skatel (Figure Events) 120 Russell Street, Emu Plains, NSW 2750 SANCTION NO.: N04/2017 REGISTRATION FEE: $ per skater (Nt applicable if nminated in States) NOMINATION FEES: $ per skater per event $ per skater (Precisin events) NOMINATION CLOSING: Saturday 22 nd April 2017 (Fees due by 5 th May 2017) MEETING & DRAW: Saturday 22 nd April pm Penrith Skatel GENERAL RULES Skaters may chse t enter the grade that mst suits their standard, but may nt mve back t a lwer level grade than the level that they have already cmpeted at. Cnditin f Entry - All skaters must be minimum Skate NSW/Skate Australia Cmpetitive (CAT 2) members Skaters that wish t mve back grade(s) the fllwing seasn must apply in writing via their club t the NSW Artistic branch. All nminatins t be prvided n the SkateNSW Artistic Event registratin prtal 4 weeks prir t the date f the Cmpetitin. Nminatin fees t be paid 2 weeks prir t the date f the Cmpetitin. NSW Artistic Meetings t be held 4 weeks prir t the date f the Cmpetitin. Figure Ft Draws will be made at the NSW Artistic meeting 4 weeks prir t the date f the Cmpetitin. Awards: All Events - Skaters wh place 1 st, 2 nd and 3 rd will receive Trphies. Fr mre infrmatin check the NSW Cmpetitin Rules, AAC Rules and CIPA Rules. ELEMENTARY CHAMPIONSHIP RULES The Elementary Champinship events are pen t any skater f Cmpetitive membership (CAT 1 r CAT 2). All Elementary Champinship grades will be pen aged, except the Masters grade r where specified. *If any f the Open* aged events are entered by; five (5) r mre skaters aged under 10 years r five (5) r mre skaters aged 10 years and lder, then that event will be calculated and awarded in t tw age grups (Under 10 and 10 & ver). ~ At this stage the Prficiency Test requirements are a guide nly and are nt enfrceable. Prficiency Test requirements will be gradually intrduced s that skaters prgress thrugh the grades when they are prficient t d s. Nte Skaters wishing t cmpete at State r Natinals champinships will need the Prficiency Test level requirement fr the grade, as per AAC Rules. Elementary Champinship events will be pen scring.
