IMPORTANT-RELEASE is sanctioned by the National Dance Council of America and is run under its rules and regulations. STILL PHOTOGRAPHY We have hired a professional photographer Our photographer will be on hand all day to photograph your dancing. VIDEO PHOTOGRAPHY We will not have a professional video company at our event this year. You may VIDEO/RECORD at OUR EVENT this YEAR! TRIPODS ARE NOT ALLOWED We ask that you respect all of our spectators and do not block anyone's view while taping. **IMPORTANT-TELEVISION/FILMING/VIDEO/STILLS** We will consider that everyone who attends this event has by his or her very presence in the ballroom, consented to the use and release of any video or pictures taken, or names of those spectators or contestants or persons participating in any capacity who may appear on television. If any person has any objection to being video taped or to the possibility of being seen in these taped for television segments, or in any publicity trailers or other use of his or her picture, please notify the organizers in writing prior to the commencement of this event failure to notify will be considered as permission granted. ~~NO SMOKING~~. 5 ADMISSION TICKETS for COMPETITORS and SPECTACTORS Tickets are $30 and are available at the door. **Competing Teachers & Students that have their entries IN and PAID in FULL by our deadline of November 15th will receive free admission into the ballroom. ENTRIES in OUR HANDS and PAID IN FULL by November 15th NO EXCEPTIONS to receive a free ticket. CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY Entries canceled before November 15th will receive a credit for our next years event, no cash refunds. Credits are not transferable and must be used the following year. Emergency health and/or emergency family issues after November 15th will receive a credit for next years event, no cash refunds. DRESS CODE Competition attire should be worn by competitors whenever possible, however it is not required. CLOSED EVENTS Are restricted syllabus events. Please use the NDCA Step List. ON DECK AREA We will have an on deck area for competitors to use to enter and exit. Please be available in the ballroom at least 30 minutes prior to your heat time. Please be in the on deck area at least 5 heats before your heat. We are on a very tight schedule and can not rerun heats for couples that miss their heats. TOP TEACHER PRIZES Rules for Top Teacher Awards: To qualify for any Top Teacher cash awards you must have a minimum of 75 Pro-Am single dance entries. Junior Pro-Am ~ Discounted Entry Fees receive 1/2 points. The minimum entry requirements are for qualification purposes. Teachers with the highest point totals meeting the minimum requirements will be determined the winners.
