The Young Goose Academy is proud to have you in Egna for the Gardena Spring Trophy The medieval trading village of Neumarkt is home of many architectural delights, such as the centuries-old arcades that captures the heart of every visitor. The ancient historic centre with its charming small internal courts and noble residences is pervaded by a magical atmosphere. Egna Spring Trophy Egna The Gardena Spring Trophy is an annual international ISU Figure skating competition with the participants from all around the world. For the last 26 years Selva di val Gardena was organizing the historical event. This year for the 2nd time and for the future the event will be holding at the beautiful ice rink of Egna/Neumarkt organized by Young Goose Academy. Young Goose Academy based at the Würtharena rink is a prestige European Ice skating club that always welcomes skaters from every country and experienced by organizing Italian national and Internationals competitions. All event will be broadcasted worldwide at

3 Dear friends skaters, welcome to the Würtharena in Neumarkt-Egna! The Young Goose Academy is pleased to organize again the Egna Spring Trophy, one of the biggest high level competitions with athlets coming from all over the world. As Mayor of Egna I am proud to host, after the best hockey teams from Switzerland, Germany, Austria and the Italian National Team and Sledge Hockey, also the most tallented figure skaters. I m sure that the Young Goose Academy will bring this competion as the greatest event for this year. I wish to all the competitors good luck, and to all the audience coming to visit us, unforgettable moments. Mr. Horst Pichler The Major of Egna I m very pleased to give the hospitality to all the athletes from around the world at my academy in the heart of the mountains in the beautiful South Tyrol, in the Authentic and friendly village of Egna. The continuous collaboration, the exchange of knowledge and the synergy are coming together when it comes to the excellence in figure skating. I adore this sport since I ve put my skates on for the first time when I was 4. Ever since I was dreaming of a figure skating school where the athletes can work in the harmony, good environment and healthy atmosphere which characterized the meaning of sport. The ice is my biggest adviser, when I have to take decisions regarding our Academy, I m coming out of my Würtharena office and sitting upstairs closing my eyes, I m hearing the sound of the blades scratching the ice which gives me a vision of the right decision and I m being thankful. 5 Practice & events Please notice that flashlights are prohibited during the practice and during the competition. All the information about time schedule changes and other important information will be immediately post on our website and the information desk. There will be a 24h health care and physiotherapist during the event at venue.
