2 ICONTUR ORGANIZES THE 2ND ICE SKATING STAGE After the success of the First Figure Skating Stage, ICONTUR will organize the Second Figure Skating Stage in Jaca, Spain. The aim is to help skaters prepare the new season, and for the skaters to have everything needed to achieve their objectives. The course has different options: Dates: from 03/07/2010 until 17/07/2010 Option 1: ICE SKATING STAGE (Certificate) Option 2: ICE SKATING STAGE + ENGLISH CLASSES (With Qualified teachers + certificates) Option 3: ICE SKATING STAGE + SPANISH CLASSES (With Qualified teachers + Certificates) There will be three different groups depending of the level of Skating. GROUP C: High level skaters. (Skaters who do all doubles, double axel, triples, quads). (3 hours ice per day, off ice and ballet/dance) GROUP B: Intermediate level skaters. (Skaters who do singles, trying axel and doubles, and simple spins). (2 hours ice per day + off ice + ballet/dance) GROUP A: Low level skaters. (For those who want lo learn Basic skating). (1 hour skating per day + stretching, coordination, optional ballet) Price of the stage: 2 weeks- Option 1(Ice Skating+ off ice + ballet / dance) : weeks- Options 2 &3 (Ice Skating + off ice + ballet/dance + Spanish or English lessons in the afternoons) : 450.

3 TECHNICAL DIRECTOR OF THE COURSE The person in charge of the Technical Direction of the Stage will be SUSAN MASON. Susan Mason is a figure skating trainer who has been given lessons for over 20 years all levels. Recognised for her professionalism, Susan is currently the coach of the Hague Skating Club (in Holand), and also the trainer of some very good skaters from different Countries. On her trips to Spain she Works for Aragón Club de Hielo, and has been the trainer of C.H.Txuri from San Sebastián, and Club Hielo Jaca during many years, taking people to European Championships and obtaining very good results where she s been. Susan Mason is the only skater in Spain who has achieved to be World Proffesional Championship (1978), she s also been National Champion (England) and member of the Olympic Squad (free and pair skating). Granted by IPSA. Entitled by NISA. Prepared to give ballet classes in Covent Garden. A trainer known for her good work with skaters all over, and for her big technical and choreographic capacity. There is a possibility of making Choreography to programmes under request. (due to the number of programmes we had to prepare last year, we recommend you ask in advance)

8 about Jaca Jaca is a city of northeastern Spain near the border with France, in the middle of the Pyrenees,in the province of Huesca. Once it was the capital of the former Kingdom of Aragon (until 1097). Jaca is today home to approximately 13,000 residents and is a premier tourist destination in the region for summer holidays and winter sport. Its popularity for winter sports has been a motivating factor in the city's failed bids for the 1998 Winter Olympics and 2010 Winter Olympics. It is currently debating a nomination for the 2014 Winter Olympics. Jaca, an episcopal walls and towers surrounding an 11th century cathedral built in Romanesque architecture. Invading Moors captured the city and administered it as a Muslim state. Christians eventually recaptured it in the name of the Catholic king and the Pope. Jaca is surrounded by beautiful mountains and valleys. The skiing resorts are half an hour away from Jaca, and the Beach (San Sebastian) are 1½ hours away by car) The closest airports are Zaragoza (Spain) and Pau (France), but transport can be arranged from other airports under request.
