1 COMPETITION INTERNATIONAL OF DANCE 7 e 8 / April 2018 REGULATION 1) LOCATION The International Competition of dance Novara in Danza, for Danceschools and Academies of dance and not professional Dancers, will be at the Palazzetto Stefano Dal Lago from Novara in the days Saturday 7 e Sunday 8 april The stage covered with carpet dance, measures 12 meter wide and 10 meter deep. You will use lights placed white.. 2) COMPETITORS a) CONFIGURATION At the Competition are accepted the following competitors drive configurations : - GROUP SOLO DUO 3 components and more 1 component 2 components b) CATEGORIES Solo ballet and modern - BABY CHILDREN JUNIORES SENIORES from 2009 to 2007 from 2006 to 2004 from 2003 to 2001 from 2000 Solo Character and Double all Sections (except Hip Hop ) - BABY YOUTH SENIORES from 2009 from 2004 from 2000 to 2005 to 2001

2 Groups ballet and modern - BABY from 2009 to CHILDREN from 2006 to JUNIORES from 2003 to SENIORES from 2000 Groups character, hip hop and oriental folk - BABY from 2009 to YOUTH from 2004 to SENIORES from Exceptions: - DUO a) The difference of the maximum age of the two components (baby,youth ), is : three years b) The category of the double is the average of the sum of the year of the members EXAMPLE: = 2001 ( category YOUTH) ecc - GROUPS You can put in a group, component outside of the category(older two year) Like this: a) from 4 to 7 total components, n 1 outside of category (older) b) from 8 to 14 total components n 2 outside of category (older) c) from 15 to 19 total components n 3 outside of category (older) d) from 20 total components n 4 outside of category (older) c) SECTIONS You can put,in the group, components outside of category more young people, without number limits The groups are not correct, will be moved in the category of more old. - BALLET (classic and neo-classic) - Solo 1) BABY 2) CHILDREN 3) JUNIORES 4) SENIORES - DUO 1) BABY 2) YOUTH 3) SENIORES - Group 1) BABY 2 CHILDREN 3) JUNIORES 4) SENIORES - MODERN (Modern, contemporary, jazz)

EACH SCHOOL can do more coreography in the same Section/Category,but the components must be different for 50%. No problem for same componetns in different section/category 3) REGISTRATION a) For Registration use the forms that are on forms must be completed an signed by each partecipant, if minor must be signed by the parent. Each choreography must be written on a different form. b) The entry fees for the competition, for each performance, are : Solo baby euro 40,00 Solo children, juniores euro 55,00 Solo youth, seniores euro 65,00 Duo baby euro 80,00 Duo youth e seniores euro 100,00 Group baby e children euro 70,00 fisso + euro 14,00 each component Group juniores -youth euro 90,00 fisso + euro 14,00 each component Group seniores euro 100,00 fisso +euro 14,00 each component NB. : THE SCHOOLS THAT REGISTER AT THE SAME TIME FIVE OR MORE CHOREOGRAPHIES BY 10 FEBRUARY 2018 WILL HAVE A DISCOUNT OF 15% ON THESE CHOREOGRAPHIES. THE SCHOOLS THAT REGISTER AT THE SAME TIME FIVE OR MORE CHOREOGRAPHIES BY 28 FEBRUARY 2018 WILL HAVE A DISCOUNT OF 10% ON THESE CHOREOGRAPHIES.

Deliver the originals on the day of the competition REGISTRATIOM ARE NOT REFUNDABLE 4) THE STRUCTURE OF THE CHOREOGRAPHY a) The themes of the choreographies are free.* *The costume used must be decent. *The carpet dance must remain clean from the competitors. It is forbidden the use of fire and candels. For the exibition will be used only for small objects, put and taken by the partecipants The total duration of the choreography is: SOLO DUO. GROUPS 3,00 min 4,00 min 5,00 min. Plus 10 seconds in addition to which i twill be interrupted. I partecipanti che, iscritti in una determinata Categoria, risultassero avere età diversa da quella dichiarata,superiore ai limiti massimi della stessa (vedi 2b ), determineranno l esclusione dalla valutazione dei giudici della propria esibizione. TUTTI I PARTECIPANTE DOVRANNO ESSERE MUNITI DI DOCUMENTO DI RICONOSCIMENTO DA ESIBIRE SU RICHIESTA DELL ORGANIZZAZIONE. 5) MUSIC CHOREOGRAPHY a) The music of the choreography in competition must be sent in MP3 format, to the mail (PREFERABLY WITH WETRANSFER) : info@novaraindanza.com entro il 31 marzo Name the music file with the title of the choreography and the executor. Bring also copies of the music tracks on the usb stick. 6) JUDMENT AND RANKING a ) Responsible of the work of the jury is the artistic director. Each juror will vote with scores from 1 (worst score ) to 10(best score ) the following parameters: - TECHNICAL - ARTISTIC (Musicality and, interpretation ecc..) - CHOREOGRAPHIC The final score will be given by the arithmetic sum of all votes assigned by the judges. The ranking score will be formed from the highest to the lowest. The total score of each performance will be subtracted from any penality fon non-compliance of the rules listed:

5 Exceeding the time limit. Leave the carpet dance dirty -10 punti -10 punti EXCEPTIONS It is possible that the jury, if it considers appropriate, not to give out some awards, in a category 7) AWARDS Prizes will be awarded to the top three winners in the categories with a number of at least 4 Choreographies. Prizes will be awarded to the top two winners in the categories with less than 4 choreographies. AWARDS: Will be awarded cups, scholarships, reimbursement of registration. REIMBURSEMENT, WHERE ASSIGNED, WILL COVER TOTALLY (100%) OF THE EXPENSES IF COMPETITORS IN THE CATEGORY ARE MORE THAN 5; OTHERWISE IT WILL COVER 50% OF THE EXPENSES. REIMBURSEMENT WIL BE SENT WITHIN 180 DAYS FORM THE MAILING VIA FAX OF THE FORM GIVEN DURING THE AWARD CEREMONY. 8. ACCESS TO THE STRUCTURE A. IN ORDER TO GET ACCESS TO THE BACKSTAGE, EACH SCHOOL WILL RECEIVE FROM 1 TO 3 PASSES (ACCORDING TO THE DAY SCHEDULE). PASSES MUST BE WELL VISIBLE THOSE WHO HAVE PASSES ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE PREPARATION AND BEHAVIOUR OF THEIR DANCERS. IT IS STRICTLY FORBIDDEN TO STAY NEAR THE SCENERY DURING THE COMPETITION. B. THE COMPETITION WILL TAKE PLACE IN 2 DAYS. SPECTATORS CAN BUY TICKETS AT 12 EUROS (one day). TICKETS ARE FREE FOR CHILDREN TILL 6 YEARS OLD. IT IS POSSIBLE TO PREBOOK TICKETS FILLING THE PROPER FORM OR DIRECTLY AT THE TICKET OFFICE THE DAY OF THE COMPETITION. 9. STAGE REHARSAL REHARSAL (which are not compulsary), IF IT IS POSSIBLE TO DO IT, WILL BE RELATED TO THE NUMBER OF COMPETITORS. THEY CAN BE WITH MUSIC OR ONLY POSITIONING, FOR EVERYONE OR ONLY FOR THE LOWER CATEGORIES. 10. GENERAL RULES A. B. PHOTO AND AUDIO VISUAL RECORDING ARE GUARANTEED BY THE ORGANIZATION. IT IS STRICTLY FORBIDDEN TO TAKE PHOTOS AND VIDEOS DURING THE COMPETITION. THOSE WHO ARE INTERESTED IN HAVING PHOTOS HAVE TO GO TO THE SPECIFIC OPERATORS. THE VIDEO OF EACH PERFORMANCE WILL BE SENT FOR FREE BY THE ORGANIZATION TO

7 THE ADDRESS GIVEN DURING THE REGISTRATION B. CANDIDATES ARE AWARE THAT RECORDING COULD BE USED FOR COMMERCIAL PURPOSE AND REFUSE EACH PAYMENT FOR THE PARTECIPATION. C. CANDIDATES ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THEIR PHYSICAL CONDITION. THE ORGANIZATION DENIES ANY RESPONSIBILITY FOR DANGERS TO PEOPLE OR THINGS. D. EACH CANDIDATE, WHEN REGISTERED, ACCEPTS ALL THE RULES IN EACH POINT.

8 11. SCHEDULE THE SCHEDULE WILL BE PUBLISHED ON WEBSITE WITIHN APRIL 4th FINAL CLASSIFICATION AND RESULTS WILL BE PUBLISHED WITHIN ONE WEEK AFTER THE COMPETITION ON. THE STARTING TIME, BETWEEN AND 16.00,WILL DIPEND ON THE NUMBER OF COMPETITORS. GENERAL RULES AND INFORMATION WILL BE SENT VIA TO COMPETITORS SO THAT THEY CAN BE WELL INFORMED ABOUT THE DEVELOPING OF THE COMPETITION WHOSE TIMES AND ORGANIZATION DEPEND ON THE NUMBER OF CANDIDATES. 8
