3 SEMNAR REMNDERS GREETNGS - in addition to this message, attached is the Seminar Schedule for Saturday and Sunday as well as the list of participants. On behalf of Skate Saskatoon, thank you, and welcome to the Fall Seminar 2018, featuring Seminar Conductors Elizabeth Manley and Jacqueline Tuffs. We would also like to welcome guest presenters Russ Prosko, Neil Tymoruski, and Laura McDonell. Reminders about the Fall Seminar: There is no registration in the morning. You will simply be checked-in and proceed to your first session. You may use any dressing room. The schedule is attached. The groups are as follows: STAR 3, 4, 5 COMPETTVE ADV& PRE 1&2 (RED) ADV&PRE 1&2 (BLUE) Things to bring: skates, skating attire, guards, water bottle, snacks, exercise clothing for off ice, running shoes, yoga mat (if possible), notebook to take notes, autograph material. Please remember to be on time for your sessions and be ready to learn. OFF CE FTNESS classes are held upstairs in the A.C.T. HALL. The presentations by Neil and Russ will be in the back fitness room #4 in the rink. The concession at the rink will be open during the days snacks and drinks can be purchased. LUNCHES are on your own and you can bring food into the arena. There are several places close to the rink where food can be purchased. **Please ensure that valuables are not left unattended...we are a public facility and cannot keep track of everyone s personal belongings.** There is no registration for parents. Parents are invited and encouraged to attend the classroom sessions (Russ Prosko, Neil Tymoruski, Liz Manley). Neil will present on the Saskatchewan Skating Teams and the StarSkate system. Russ will present on boots, blades, sharpening, purchasing, maintenance. BOTH presentations will be valuable ALL parents, but especially for Advanced and StarSkate parents. Parents are NOT permitted to watch the off ice classes conducted by Jacqueline Tuffs. Parents may watch any on ice session from inside the lobby area. Parents are permitted to record the on ice sessions while viewing from the lobby seats. Registered coaches may attend any on or off ice classes.
