1 PARTICIPANTS: This is an open entry competition to all Skaters, Federations, and Clubs. There will be no restriction on the quantity of candidates per age category and discipline. Federations may also enter a National Team in addition to clubs but, must limit the National team to 3 athletes per age category and discipline. There will be no challenge up in age category. Skaters must choose only one age category. 2 CATEGORIES AND AGES: All Ages are as of December 31, 2019 Refer to World Skate Official Regulation Artistic - General 2019 Team event entries will be determined by the oldest member of that team Promotional Events: Tiny-Tots age 7 and under (will skate Tot requirements) Basic Level Intermediate Level Advance Level No athlete will be allowed to challenge down to the Promotional Events. Promotional Event skaters may not challenge up to the standard event for their age in the same discipline. Open Adult 18 years and older (Born 2001 and before) Both members of a Team must be 18 years or older. (Figures, Solo, Team, and Singles) TRANSPORTATION AND ACCOMMODATION: Each club will be responsible for their own transportation and lodging. There are many low and moderate price hotel and family home accommodations in the area

3 JUDGES: Each Federation may send a maximum of two (2) World Skate Figure Judges. Additional Judges will be provided by the USA Roller Sports. Each judge is responsible for their own travel cost to the USA. Hotel accommodations, internal transport, and per diem for food during the Championship will be provided by the organizers. Federations wishing to send judges for Rollart training and for experience are welcome to do so and be allowed to participate at their own expense. The Judges Director shall coordinate training events. CHAMPIONSHIP SCHEDULE: January 17 Day of Registration and Training January 18 Competition 5am to 6pm January 19 Competition 5am to 6pm January 20 Competition 5am to 11pm January 21 Competition and Closing 5am to 11pm AWARDS: Medals will be awarded to the top 3 finishers in all competitions (gold, silver & bronze). Trophies for the top three clubs that occupy the highest score awarded based on the points by competition in each category, as follows: 1st place: 15 points, 2nd place: 12 points, 3rd place: 10 points, 4th place: 8 points, 5th place: 6 points, 6th place: 5 points, 7th place: 4 points, 8th place: 3 points, 9th place: 2 points, 10th place: 1 point. The Club receiving the highest accumulation of points will be awarded the Americas Cup Championship Trophy of Clubs. SKATING REQUIREMENTS All events will follow the World Skate 2019 Requirements All figure divisions will skate Group One (1) from the World Skate Requirements.

4 Figures will be skated and drawn in the order as listed in the requirements. The figure direction (foot) will be drawn by January 5, Junior and Senior, Solo and Team Dance events will skate both Style and Free Dance. Solo and Team Dance events will skate both Compulsory and Free Dance in Mini and Above. Free Skating and Pairs will skate Short and Long programs in Espoir and above. Tots and Minis will do Long Program only. Adult Events will follow USA Roller Sports 2019 Requirements: Figures Classic Gold Dance Classic International Free Style Classic Promotional Requirements: Tiny Tot Will follow World Skate Tot Requirements for all events. Promotional Basic Figures 1b (Change eight) and 2 Dance Team/Solo - Glide Waltz (108 Waltz) and City Blues (88 Blues) 2:00 minutes +/- 10 seconds A maximum of twelve (12) jumps of one (1) rotation are allowed including Waltz jump. The same jump cannot be presented more than three (3) times. (maximum three (3) positions) ONLY upright positions and sit positions are allowed. The two spins must be different. One (1) footwork sequence maximum level 1. The four (4) steps and turns that will be counted towards the level include and are limited to: Cross in front, Inside Three Turn, Outside Three turn, Open Mohawk. Promotional Intermediate Figures 8a/b and 9a/b Dance Team/Solo Kinder Waltz (120 Waltz) and Carlos Tango (100 Tango)

5 2:30 minutes +/- 10 seconds A maximum of twelve (12) jumps of one (1) rotation. Within the twelve (12) jumps Axel, double toeloop and double salchow are allowed. It is mandatory to perform an Axel that can be presented also in combination. Axel and doubles cannot be presented more than twice. If presented twice, one must be in combination. The same one rotation jump cannot be presented more than three (3) times. In the program, there MUST be at least one toe loop element (single or double). (maximum three (3) positions) and must include a sit spin. (not broken ankle, not heel, not inverted). The two spins must be different. One (1) footwork sequence maximum level 2. Promotional Advanced Figures 10 and 11 Dance Team/Solo - Kleiner Waltz (138 Waltz) and Siesta Tango (100 Tango) Free Style 3:00 minutes +/- 10 seconds A maximum of ten (10) jumps are allowed (excluding connection jumps) (double axel and triples are not allowed) It is mandatory to perform an Axel that can be presented also in combination. Axel and doubles cannot be presented more than twice. If presented twice, one must be in combination. (maximum four (4) positions) and must include a sit spin. The same kind of spin cannot be performed more than twice in the whole program (i.e. maximum two inverted, maximum two forward heel etc.). Broken is not allowed and the two spins must be different. One (1) footwork sequence maximum level 2. All Promotional Solo Compulsory dance will skate the women s steps. Promotional events will be skated in flights of two skaters/teams and will not be open scored. Scores will be posted following the event. All diagrams will be made available on the USA Roller Sports website.
