2 Chapter Director's Corner Welcome to winter and the Holidays! I trust by now most of us have put our favorite ride away for a long winter sleep. I'm still procrastinating and hoping for one more ride. (Practice on the trike). I hope you all had an awesome Thanksgiving! Ours was great. Too much to eat but so goes the tradition! The Chapter had a busy month. Thanks to Henry for taking care of last month meeting and all those that lent a helping hand. Jay for handling the Ringling 5 Concert and dinner. We had a great time on our trip west/visiting Grandkids and attending the EWU football game/ and our trip south/las Vegas. We had a great turnout to decorate the float for the parade. Thank you all! A special Thank you to Brad and Dawn for the use of their trailer and pick up. Gary and Linda for the use of straw bales. Jay and Sue for letting us use his bike on the trailer. Henry and Deby for making and decorating the Gingerbread boys! The night of the parade was 15 degrees. Other than a few cold fingers and toes we all stayed relatively warm! Perkins had the hot drinks ready when we got there! Now we get ready for the arrival of the Man in Red and we hope for more chrome for our favorite ride! December brings another busy month. Meeting/3rd, Christmas Party/12th, and Bunko on News Year Eve and forward we go. Let's start thinking now about what we want on our summer ride schedule. Maybe we can come up with some new rides. Pam and I would like to thank the Chapter for your support/help in directing the Chapter in our first year. We hope for your continued support in the coming year! Exciting news to be shared at the meeting! Stay warm and if you ride be safe!! Gary and Pam Christmas Party We will have our annual Christmas Party on December 12th at 6:30 at Central Christian Church at 16th and Grand. The Chapter will furnish turkey and ham. It will be a pot luck for all of the trimmings! Please consider taking the ham and turkey to cook. We will discuss at the meeting. We will be doing our annual Christmas gift exchange. Please bring a small wrapped gift between $10-15 to share. Santa will attend. If you bring children please bring wrapped gift for them to receive from Santa!
