Explore the beautiful city of Yellowknife: Legislative Assembly, Northern Heritage Prince of Wales Museum, Frontier Visitor Centre. A scenic drive through downtown and iconic Old Town to the Pilot's Monument where you can overlook the view of Yellowknife City. During the Winter season, you will have a chance to experience the frozen Ice Road. Meeting Point to Trout Rock Lodge Take a 45 minutes ride on Hagglund (an enclosed tracked vehicle ideal for the snowy North) to the remote island on Great Slave Lake. Day 1 Aurora Viewing at Trout Rock Lodge Trout Rock Lodge is far away from city lights and traffic noise. A great place for aurora viewing and relax! You can view the aurora right outside your room at anytime when it appears. The Lodge deck or on the lake are also good place to take in a 360 degree view overhead!

3 Day Time Activities Snow Mobile Tour Ice Fishing Snowshoeing Drive your own snowmobile on the frozen lake, ice fish for fierce Northern Pike or Ling cod. Fresh sashimi will be served if you catch fish! Try snowshoeing along the windswept shoreline. Day 2 Aurora Viewing at Trout Rock Lodge Another precious night for viewing Aurora! You can view the aurora right outside your room at anytime when it appears. The Lodge deck or on the lake are also good place to take in a 360 degree view overhead! 4 From Lodge to Meeting Point Say goodbye to the lodge after breakfast. There are still a lot of wonderful activities waiting for you in Yellowknife! ALASKAN HUSKY DOG SLEDDING (45 minutes) ALASKAN HUSKY DOG SLEDDING: Feel the thrill of freedom, glide over a frozen lake and through forested trails. Basic safety and operating instructions will be provided. Tour will be fully guided for your comfort and safety. Helmets are provided, and winter clothing can be rented for the tours. Day 3 Aurora Viewing -Aurora Station Aurora Viewing -Aurora Station: Enjoy Aurora Borealis in a comfort, cozy Aurora Station with 360 degrees sky-deck observatory in the Arctic. Hot beverages and snacks are served. Clean and tidy flushing toilets in the log cabin with Aboriginal tipis for photography. Our tour guides will provide photography service.
