1 Worksheet Jen s trip to California 1 Put the story in the correct order. We relaxed in our hotel room for an hour and then went out to eat at an expensive restaurant where they had live jazz music. After having fun in the sun, we got a rental car and drove to San Diego, where we went to a worldfamous zoo and Sea World, a really interesting marine park. 1 Last summer, my family and I went on vacation* in the USA. My parents are interested in history and old buildings, so they spent the last day of our trip in the Gaslamp Quarter, the historic district, and my brother and I went back to the beach. In the end, we had a wonderful time on our vacation. My brother has never been scuba diving because he does not like sport. So I went scuba diving alone. It was so exciting! We spent one week in California. I also wanted to go to Hawaii because my friend has been there before and really liked it, but we didn t have time. From the marine park, we drove into downtown and found a nice, comfortable hotel. First, we went to the beach, where we swam, went sun bathing and even tried scuba diving. On my next holiday, I would like to go back to California and spend more time at the beach. I have never been surfing or tried water skiing before and I would love to try it. * Vacation is American for holiday. 2 Did you understand the story about Jen s vacation?
