2 Conditions of Sale The highest bidder shall be the buyer and no bids shall be retracted. The auctioneer shall have absolute discretion to settle any dispute and, if he thinks fit, to put up the disputed lot again. The bidding shall be at the discretion of the auctioneer, who reserves the right to refuse to accept bids from any person and to withdraw any lot from the sale without giving any reason thereof. All lots are sold as shown and neither the auctioneer nor the vendor accept any responsibility for imperfections, faults or errors of description or the condition of the lot. Buyers are deemed to have satisfied themselves as to the authenticity and condition of a lot prior to bidding. Descriptions contained in the catalogue are the opinion of the auctioneer and should not be taken as a representation of statement or fact. Reference to the condition of an item are given for guidance only. The absence of any such reference does not imply that a lot is free from defects nor does any reference to particular defects imply the absence of others. All lots are put up for sale subject to any reserve price imposed by the seller. Commission bids will be executed as cheaply as any other bids or the seller's reserve allows. Payment for purchased lots may be made by cash or cheque (supported by suitable identification). All purchased lots must be paid for in full and removed from the saleroom on the evening of the sale, unless otherwise arranged with the auctioneer prior to the sale. Every person on the premises before, during or after the sale shall be deemed to be there at their own risk and shall have no claim against The Surrey Flydressers' Guild in respect of any injury they may sustain or any accident which may occur.
