1 May 2018 Activities Welcome Back Weekend Bear Creek welcomes you and your family back for our 4th season! Join us for opening weekend as we engage in some fun arts and crafts, movie nights and even a behind the scenes tour of the campground and Lake Compounce! *All activities take place in the Pavilion unless noted otherwise* Friday, May 4th: Bubble Blowing Art- 5pm o Catch us under the Pavilion to create your own masterpiece. Campfire Fun 6pm o Join us under the Pavilion for a campfire craft and treat. Summer Social- 7pm o Come out to mingle with your fellow campers o Pop some popcorn & gather under the Bear Creek Pavilion for a cozy movie Saturday, May 5th: Cinco De Mayo Maracas 8am o Make your very own Maracas. Wake up with Kyle the Crocodile-9am o Come on down to the Bear Creek Pavilion & Wake up with Kyle as he says Good Morning to you and your family! Cinco De Mayo Sombrero Craft- 2pm o Compete with your friends to see who can make the best sombrero! Cinco De Mayo Piñata Fun 7pm o Hit the piñata to discover the goodies inside. Candy Bar Bingo 8pm o Join your fellow campers the Bear Creek Pavilion for a fun game of bingo! Bring your own candy bar as admission to play!

Popsicle Stick Picture Frames 9am o Make your very own picture frames! Lightsaber Craft 10am o Design your very own lightsaber

3 Mother s Day Weekend Happy Mother s Day to all of the wonderful mothers out there! To show you how much you are appreciated, our Bear Creek Campground staff will provide a Mother s Day pancake breakfast where your children will help decorate your pancakes! Also, join us on Saturday night for a wine and paint class! Mom paints for FREE! *All activities take place in the Pavilion unless noted otherwise* Friday, May 11th: Floam Craft 6pm o Create and customize your own moldable foam. Potato Sack Race 7pm o Hop along with your friends all the way to the finish line. o Pop some popcorn & catch us under the Bear Creek Pavilion for a cozy movie Saturday, May 12th: Mother s Day Craft 8am o Decorate a pot and plant a beautiful flower for your mom. Wake up with Kyle the Crocodile-9am o Come on down to the Bear Creek Pavilion & Wake up with Kyle as says Good Morning to you and your family. Loom Band Bracelets 2pm o Follow our instructor to create a one of a kind bracelet for mom. Mom s Night Out 6pm o Join us for a wine & paint class. We ll bring the supplies and you bring the wine. Kid s Pajama Party 6pm o While Mom is painting away, kids are invited to the Bear Creek pajama party. Candy Bar Bingo 8pm o Meet at the Bear Creek Pavilion for a fun game of bingo! Bring your own candy bar as admission to play

Sunday, May 13th: Mother s Day Mother s Day 3 rd Annual Pancake Breakfast 8am o This Mother s Day, let your children make breakfast for you! Wake up to the sweet smell of syrup being drizzled over homemade pancakes. Your kids will assist our Bear Creek Campground staff in making your Mother s Day special! Mother s Day Craft 9am o Come make a special homemade craft for your mom! Deliver the Flowers Family Relay Race- 10am o Which team will be the quickest to deliver the flowers to the moms at the finish line?!

5 Hero Appreciation Weekend A weekend of honoring our local heroes who keep our communities safe. Write thank you letters to local Police Officers and Fire Fighters, and participate in a Police & Firefighter kickball game! Wear a blue shirt to be on the police team or a red shirt to be on the fire fighter team! Some of our local heroes will even be at Bear Creek Campground to meet you! *All activities take place in the Pavilion unless noted otherwise* Friday, May 18th Firefighter Helmet Craft - 6pm o Color away as you create your very own firefighter helmet. Tire Rolling Race- 7pm o Police men vs. Firefighters! o Pop some popcorn & catch us under the Bear Creek Pavilion for a cozy movie Saturday, May 19th: First Responders Day Police & Firemen Thank You Cards- 8am o Make thank you cards for the police officers & firefighters coming to visit! Wake up with Kyle the Crocodile-8:30 am o Come on down to the Bear Creek Pavilion & Wake up with Kyle as says Good Morning to you and your family! Meet & Greet!-9am o Come meet with our first responder heroes. Fire Truck Flame Craft- 10am o Using your creative skills, design and create a fire scene.

6 Make Your Own Police Hats 5pm o Deck out your very own police hat. Police Officers vs. Firefighters Kickball Tournament- 6pm o Come participate in Police Man vs. Firefighters Kickball Tournament! Choose your team and come play a game of kickball! Candy Bar Bingo 8pm o Come on down to the Bear Creek Pavilion for a fun game of bingo! Bring your own candy bar as admission to play! Bear Creek Dance Party-9pm o Celebrate Hero Appreciation weekend & dance the night away at Bear Creek Pavilion with your family! Frozen Bowling 9am o This is a unique bowling experience with frozen bottles as the pins, and a frozen water balloon as the ball! 7 Memorial Day Weekend Weekend Long Memorial Day Celebration! Site Decorating Contest: Decorate your RV tent cabin, tipi, or cub hut to win exclusive prizes! Judging begins Saturday night at 6pm! Winners will be announced on Sunday Morning! Be sure to tag your photos with the below hashtag to be eligible: #bearcreekpatriotizeyoursite *All activities take place in the Pavilion unless noted otherwise* Friday, May 25th: Patriotic Puzzle- 6pm o Celebrate the holiday by decorating your own puzzle. Bean Bag Toss- 7pm o Grab a partner & join the fun! See you at the Pavilion for a good ole fashioned game of bean bag toss. o Pop some popcorn & catch us under the Bear Creek Pavilion for a cozy movie Saturday, May 26th: Wake up with Kyle the Crocodile-9 am o Come on down to the Bear Creek Pavilion & Wake up with Kyle as he says Good Morning to you and your family. Finger Print Flags! -6pm o Finger painting fun! Show your support for the armed forces and write a special thank you. Hula Hoop Contest- 7pm o Show us your hula hoop skills. Family Bingo Night- 8pm o Join and compete with families from all over the country! With tons of Bear Creek and Lake Compounce themed prizes.

8 o Bear Creek Dance Party-9pm o Celebrate Memorial Day weekend & dance the night away at Bear Creek Pavilion with your family! o Sunday, May 27th: Firework Painting Craft- 8am o Use straws to create a beautiful painting. Flag Raising Ceremony-9am o Come one, come all to the center of the cub huts and watch as we raise the flag for Memorial Day! Bike Parade- Parade starts right after the flag raising ceremony! o Calling all kids, young and old! Bring your bikes for the 2017 Memorial Day Bike Parade this weekend! The 2017 Memorial Day Bike Parade with Kyle the Crocodile will begin right after the Flag Raising ceremony! Set up your chairs along the parade route! Participants should meet at the camp store to begin decorating their bikes at 8am! Don t miss this super fun event! Bean Bag Toss- 10am o Grab a partner & join the fun! See you at the Pavilion good ole fashioned game of bean bag toss. Ice Cream Social 5pm o Come get some FREE ice cream and cool off under the Pavilion! o Pop some popcorn & catch us under the Bear Creek Pavilion for a cozy movie.
