2 Northern Nights Outfitters Newsletter January 2015 Happy New Year Everyone!! As we head into 2015, Mike and I would like to thank all of our clients, friends and family for another wonderful season at Northern Nights. This past year was filled with more adventures, fish tales and new friendships. The season started off with a reunion of a very good friend we had not seen in many years. Mike and I would like to thank Don for helping us open camp, the reminiscing and laughs. The returning veterans and good friends Tom and Kevin commenced the 2014 fishing season with incredible catches of big Pike and Walleye. Twenty seven Pike over 30 with a good number of lunkers over 40. The week was topped off with some really nice Walleye around the 5lb mark. Just so they knew they were in Canada, we threw in a June snow storm for affect!! Great stories and more recipes will be in store this season look forward to seeing you both on June 1 st (Tom - the chilli is amazing).

3 Big John was our most senior visitor to camp since opening in 2012, at 82 years young. John was accompanied by the crew we refer to as the Gentlemen of the North. Mike and I enjoyed the stories on the dock while John recited his incredible life experiences. We trust you are able to make the journey with Bob, Bill, Terry and Dennis this season stay well our friend. Big John Any guess on what time in June this was?! There does however appear to be an odd man out!! Chucky, Skippy and Bobber looks like LA won, but not a bad consolation prize Trent!!

Those who ventured out, had a great time and we can both attest that catching a big Pike and getting dragged around the lake is an incredible experience!! Graham demonstrated some morning yoga for us!! New to this coming is season is the Gazebo. Everyone last year witnessed the progression of Relic hauling logs from the main land to the much anticipated gazebo slash outdoor cook shack. The draw dawn screens, BBQ and cooktop will be a great addition to camp this season.

6 Guest Book We could write about the wonderful people and amazing times we had at camp, but thought we would share with you some excerpts from the guest book this past season. We truly cherish the adventure as much as those who come to Northern Nights. If you want to read more, come for a visit!! Every year we look forward to our time with you, Cindy and Mike, and every year we are never disappointed. What more could one ask for beautiful friends, awesome food, scenery to die for and the greatest fishing we ve ever had. 7 Thank you so much Mike and Cindy! Our first fly in trip and definitely won t be our last. Beautiful cabin, fantastic fishing, incredible scenery the falls were amazing and the friendly hosts! Just an overall fantastic time! A very fun and restful experience. Thank you very much for filleting the fish and sharing information Mike! We learned a lot. Cindy thank you for the visits and cookies. You both are amazing. Living the Life! This whole experience has been wonderful! Definitely see you next year. Even the rain was warm! P.S. 4:00 am is the best part of the day! The lake is glass! Ruth Magee Carmichael, SK. We all had a great time of course. Caught more than our fair share of Walleye and lunkers. It was fun to watch the progress on the gazebo as we came back each day. The fish fry was awesome as was the smoked fish.
