The title of the first Commission Regulation was changed from Noncommercial Collection of Reptiles and Amphibians for to Fishing Seasons and Regulations for the Two Year Period March 1, 2018 through February 29, The Nevada Board of Wildlife Commissioners will hold a public hearing at 9:00 a.m., on Saturday, June 30, 2018 at the Dyer Community Center, Hwy 264 at Blue Bird Rd., Dyer, Nevada The purpose of the hearing is to receive comments from all interested persons regarding the adoption of commission regulations. If a person who is directly affected by the proposed action fails to appear to request to make an oral presentation, the Nevada Board of Wildlife Commissioners may proceed immediately to act upon any written submissions. Commission Regulation Amendment #1, Fishing Seasons and Regulations for the Two Year Period March 1, 2018 through February 29, 2020 The Commission will consider Amendment #1 of the Fishing Seasons and Bag Limits for the period of March 1, 2018 through February 29, 2020 to modify the harvest limit for fish in that portion of the Upper Reese River and tributaries from the Arc Dome wilderness boundary south of the Yomba Shoshone Tribe Reservation to its headwaters, and Stewart Creek from its confluence with the Reese River to its headwaters, in Nye County, to remove harvest limits on trout species. Commission Regulation CR Amendment Heritage Tags Organization/Vendor Selection and Special Regulations The Commission will consider selection of the 2018 Heritage Tag vendors/organization recommendations. Commission Regulation 18-12, Upland Game and Furbearer Seasons and Bag Limits Wildlife Staff Specialists Shawn Espinosa and Russell Woolstenhulme For Possible Action The Commission will consider and may vote to establish regulations for upland game birds and mammals as well as furbearers for the 2018 and 2019 seasons. This regulation will also include fall wild turkey seasons for 2018 and 2019 and spring wild turkey seasons for 2019 and Persons wishing to comment upon the proposed action of the Nevada Board of Wildlife Commissioners may appear at the scheduled public hearing or may address their comments, data, views or arguments, in written form, to the Secretary of the Nevada Board of Wildlife Commissioners, 6980 Sierra Center Parkway, Suite 120, Reno, Nevada Written submissions must be received at least five days before the scheduled public hearing. A copy of the regulations to be adopted will be on file at the State Library, 100 N. Stewart Street, Carson City, Nevada and at each Nevada county library in which an office of the agency is not maintained, for inspection by members of the public during business hours. 2 STATE OF NEVADA BOARD OF WILDLIFE COMMISSIONERS FISHING SEASONS CR Amendment 1 The Board of Wildlife Commissioners, under the authority of of the Nevada Revised Statutes, does hereby adopt the following regulation for the management of the fisheries resource: 2018/2019 FISHING SEASONS MARCH 1, 2018 THROUGH FEBRUARY 29, 2020 LIMITS Limit means the maximum number of game fish that may be lawfully taken and reduced to possession by a person in one day. The limit includes fish caught in Nevada which have been processed or preserved and are stored at any location. Fish that are caught and immediately released back to the water alive are not considered to be reduced to possession or part of the limit. A person shall not reduce game fish to possession if he already has the number of that fish in possession which equals or exceeds the limit of the water being fished. General limits are listed by county as all waters, all lakes and reservoirs or all streams and rivers. Exceptions to general limits and special regulations are listed by individual water.

10 PROPOSED CHANGES NYE COUNTY All regulations in Nye County are proposed to remain the same with the exception of the following (changes are delineated in boldface type): Upper Reese River and Stewart Creek Existing Regulation: Upper Reese River 10 trout, 15 warmwater game fish of which not more than 10 may be black bass Stewart Creek 10 trout, 15 warmwater game fish of which not more than 10 may be black bass Proposed Regulation: Upper Reese River and tributaries from the Arc Dome wilderness boundary south of the Yomba Shoshone Tribe Reservation to its headwaters Stewart Creek from its confluence with the Reese River to its headwaters No limit on trout No limit on trout Description and Rationale: Change the harvest limit regulation from 10 trout to no limit on trout in the Upper Reese River and tributaries from the Arc Dome wilderness boundary south of the Yomba Shoshone Tribe Reservation to its headwaters, and Stewart Creek from its confluence with the Reese River to its headwaters. This Amendment to CR will maximize the opportunity for the public to harvest and remove nonnative trout species that would otherwise be lost from treatments to remove those species that are scheduled to occur in late summer Currently only nonnative brown, brook or rainbow trout are present in the waters described in this proposed Amendment depending on specific location within those watersheds.

11 CR Wildlife Heritage Tag Seasons and Quotas Amendment #1 The Nevada Board of Wildlife Commissioners, under the authority of Section , , and of the Nevada Revised Statutes (NRS), does hereby adopt the following regulation for the management of wildlife resources in the State of Nevada Wildlife Heritage Tags Hunting Hours: Big game mammals and wild turkey may be hunted from one-half hour before sunrise to one-half hour after sunset as listed on government sunrise-sunset tables. Take Limit: One animal allowed per tag. Legal Weapon: Any legal firearm or bow as described in NRS and Nevada Administrative Code (NAC) , , and may be used throughout the big game season. Additionally, any legal weapon or shotgun or bow as described in NAC may be used throughout the wild turkey season.
