1 Lord of the Flies Study Questions Packet 1 English 3 - Mrs. Milligan Lord of the Flies Reading Questions Name Directions Answer these questions in complete sentences while reading each chapter. Handwritten responses to these questions are due on the first day of school. Make your writing legible; if I cannot read it, you will earn no credit for the illegible portion. Work submitted one day late will receive a grade of no more than 60% and two days late will not be accepted. No exceptions, please do not ask. Chapter 1 Questions 1. How are Ralph and Piggy different? 2. Why are we not given their first names at first? 3. How does the language in the first few paragraphs hint at the strangeness and terror of the island? 4.
