2 Welcome to Pittodrie When I arrived at Pittodrie a year ago one of my objectives was to provide a platform that would enable the people of the North East fall to back in love with their football club again. We all recognised a huge team effort would be required to make Aberdeen FC strong again, both on and off the pitch. Through hard work, a determination to perform well in every game, and a will to win, I believe we have gone some way towards achieving that aim, although there remains a great deal to be done. A successful club requires solid foundations and, at any football club, the foundations are built upon the loyalty shown by our valued corporate family, who continue to support the club through thick and thin. We are all well aware of who we are representing at all times and I hope the effort and endeavour demonstrated by your team this season has gone some way towards repaying the faith you have shown in the club over the years. We appreciate and understand the expectations that surround this great club and we want to build on the success we have enjoyed this season, a success in which you played a huge part, to ensure Aberdeen FC remains a leading light within Scottish football.
