1 2015 TVSC SC Multi-Sport Athlete / Guest Player Policy Tri Valley Soccer Club (TVSC) is designed for players who have a passion for soccer and who are interested in developing and achieving as much as they can in the game. Due to the scope and depth of our programs, participation with Tri Valley Soccer Club (TVSC) does require a greater level of commitment and dedication from its membership As a competitive soccer player, it is important that each member attend every possible team training in order to progress as an individual and improve the team. TVSC understands, however, that unavoidable conflicts can arise when members compete in multiple sports throughout the year While the Club provides an avenue for soccer players and teams to play year round, it also believes athletes benefit from participation in other activities as an important part of their overall development, as both soccer players and citizens. TVSC does not ask athletes involved in multiple sports to choose one sport over another during the spring preseason training, however, players are expected to make soccer a priority once the official soccer season starts. Players and parents are asked to read, respect and adhere to Club policies contained in the Club s Code of Conduct. During the spring season, multi-sport players are asked to attend at least one practice per week and all scheduled games when possible. It is up to the player to notify the coach prior to each training and/or games if a conflict should arise.

2 2015 Tri Valley SC Guest Player Policy: Tri Valley SC does not allow its members to play as guest players for any other club at any time. If a player plays or trains with another team outside the Tri Valley Soccer Club, while registered with TVSC, without the express written approval of the Board of Directors, that player is subject to immediate expulsion from the Club and loss of all fees paid and contracted to the Tri Valley Soccer Club.

3 2015 Team Policies & Protocol Training: All players are required to attend all regularly scheduled training. Players are to arrive no later than 15 minutes prior to the scheduled start time unless notified by the Head Coach. Players are to wear their team training kit at all trainings, no exceptions. T-shirts/jerseys are tucked in at all times. If you are, for any reason, unable to make a team training session, you are to notify the team manager and the head coach via phone call and/or prior to that day s training. All players are to bring and wear shin guards to ALL trainings and games. All players are responsible for field set up, field take down, and the removal of all litter from the fields being used.

4 Games: All players are required to bring both sets of uniforms to every game. This includes the game tracksuit and training t-shirt. Players are required to be at the game site one hour in advance of the scheduled game time unless informed by the Head Coach. No player is to leave a training or game venue until such time as they are excused by the coach. After each match, league game or tournament game, all players are required to participate in a mandatory cool down routine. Details of this cool down procedure will be provided by the coaching staff. Under no circumstances are parents of team members allowed on the same side of the field as the team bench. No parents are allowed to approach the coaching staff and/or players during a game, including team post-game meeting, with coaches and postgame cool down. General Conduct: One of the hallmarks of a quality/successful team and Club includes the prohibition of behavior detrimental to the team and your individual teammates. This behavior includes non-constructive criticism of a teammate s performance, exclusion of a teammate from an off-field function and any behavior that is deemed offensive or undermines the integrity of team and Club. As representatives of the Tri Valley Soccer Club, you are expected to behave courteously and with regard for others, while in hotels and restaurants. Any player who receives a yellow card or red card in the course of a game may be subject to suspension by the head coach. This decision will be at the sole discretion of the head coach and the BOD.

5 Miscellaneous: Although, as minors, players are under the direct supervision of their parents, while at tournament play, the player curfew is 11:00pm. Unless the parents have made prior arrangements with the coach, anyone found to be in violation of this curfew may not be allowed to play in the following game, at the sole discretion of the coaching staff. All players are required, when advised, to attend all team functions, including meetings and meals while at tournament play. Players are encouraged to eat properly and hydrate themselves while traveling as a team and while at home. Players are required to provide an itinerary, if traveling, including flight and ground transportation schedules, to the team manager prior to the event departure date. Players are also required to bring copies of their medical insurance cards and release letters signed by a parent or guardian, authorizing emergency medical treatment, whenever traveling without your parent/guardian.

6 2015 Tri Valley SC Graphic Standards The visual identity of the Tri Valley Soccer Club is one of the organization s most valuable possessions. The strength of our marketing communications is dependent upon a strong, unified graphic identity. As Tri Valley SC continues to grow and develop as an elite educational program, the growth must be met with careful cultivation of the organization s image. By implementing a consistent and unified identity, the Club projects a more professional image. The intention of this policy is not to have all visual communications be identical, but to share the visual elements that identify them as coming from the Tri Valley Soccer Club. By defining the framework by which visual communications are created, we have limited the scope of our logo usage, but have left ample room for creativity. The graphic standards policy outlined below explains the proper usage of the Tri Valley Soccer Club logo. These standards were developed to familiarize our teams management with the club s official graphic symbols, and to assist you in implementing these symbols easily and accurately. The usage of the Club s visual marks and commercial marks includes, but are not limited to: Publications and collateral material (posters, flyers, flags, postcards) Stationary (brochures, newsletters, invitations) Advertisements (printed, electronic or screened) Signage (printed or electronic) Web pages and other forms of electronic media (photographs)

7 The Tri Valley Soccer Club Graphic Standards: The Club Marks: The club has two primary commercial marks. They are the circular logo and the triangle logo. Application Guidelines: Both commercial marks can be utilized upon written request by a Club manager. All commercial or private applications must have a formal written approval from a Club officer before any production can be initiated. The Club will provide the electronic artwork to the requesting party at which time usage of the mark is not approved until a final draft of the production is formally approved by a Club officer. Any approved usage of the Club s marks is on a one time basis and any additional usage for additional productions must receive formal written approval from a Club officer. Club Colors: Pantone Navy / PMS 295 PC Pantone Yellow / PMS 123 PC Pantone Carolina / PMS 284 PC This graphics standard policy must be used and upheld by all of the management team of the Club. The easiest way to ensure compliance with this policy is to work with the Board of Directors in developing your promotional and communications material. The above outlined guidelines are flexible enough to allow you to design a product unique to your team, but still be an identifiable member of the Tri Valley Soccer Club community.

8 2015 Tri Valley SC Uniform Policy The Tri Valley Soccer Club has formed a partnership with adidas America for the next three years. This partnership is an exclusive uniform /training gear arrangement (excluding shoes) for all of the Tri Valley SC programs. The uniform lifespan is estimated to be three years. At the end of this three year period (the completion of the 3 rd season), new uniforms will again be a required purchase. The guidelines listed below are to be followed and adhered to by all staff and players! Competitive Division Uniform Package: Girls: 2 adidas jerseys: Navy and Yellow / White and Navy 2 adidas shorts: Navy and Yellow / White and Navy 2 - adidas socks: Navy and Yellow / White and Navy 1 adidas Women s Trofeo Tracksuit: Royal and White & Black 2 Training Jerseys: Blue and Yellow 1 - adidas Backpack Boys: 2 adidas jerseys: Navy and Yellow / White and Navy 2 adidas shorts: Navy and Yellow / White and Navy 2 adidas socks: Navy and Yellow / White and Navy 1 adidas Men s Trofeo Tracksuit: Royal / White & Black 2 - Training Jerseys: Blue and Yellow 1 adidas Backpack

9 Uniform Assignment: The home uniform for the Girls and Boys will be navy jerseys, navy shorts and navy socks. The away uniform will be all white. All teams are required to follow this uniform assignment policy unless there is a conflict which requires the home team to change. There are no exceptions to this policy. If there are no uniform conflicts, the TVSC teams are expected to follow the above mentioned assignments at all times. Competitive Division Goalkeeping Jerseys: The Tri Valley SC will provide each team with one adidas goalkeeper jersey at no charge. If a team requires a second jersey, the team will be required to purchase the second jersey. If a team determines a second jersey is needed the team manager is required to contact the club administrator to make arrangements to purchase a second jersey. All TVSC goalkeepers are required to wear the TVSC adidas goalkeeper jersey in all competitions. There are absolutely no substitutes allowed at any time! Team Managers are requested to submit their requested jersey size (2) (in writing) ASAP to the Club Administrator. The goalkeeper jerseys are available in both youth and adult sizes. Competitive Division Training Gear Policy: All TVSC teams are required to wear their Training Shirts (blue and yellow) to all training. Both the Boys and the Girls teams are required to wear their navy shorts and navy socks with their training jersey to all training sessions. In order to maintain a professional image with our players and club, as well as to establish a level of team discipline with our players, this training gear policy is mandatory for all competitive teams. It is the coach s and manager s responsibility to insure that this policy is enforced. Failure to wear the training gear will result in being sent home!

10 Uniform & Training Gear Treatments: All uniform and training gear treatments (logo placements) will be coordinated by Soccer Pro. Uniform specifications have been created for the team uniforms and all accessory equipment. There will be no exceptions to these specifications and or policy. Accessories (optional): adidas Champions League Ball Size 4 / 5 Accessories purchased by a team must be identical for each team player. Uniform Numbering: For the Competitive Division, the numbering system is as follows: Team numbers are restricted to 1 through 30 / No exceptions unless approved by the Club. Numbers will be displayed on the front and back of the game jersey. Goalkeepers Numbers: 1, 20, 23, 24, 25 Field Players Numbers: 2 19, 21, 22, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30 Official Uniform Supplier: Soccer Pro, Inc. 11 2015 Financial Commitment As a parent / guardian, in accepting a position with the Tri Valley Soccer Club, I agree to honor and fulfill all financial obligations and terms as defined in the 2015 Tri Valley Soccer Club fee schedule. I understand and agree as a parent / guardian, that if for any reason my child or children leave the Club before the end of the 2015 season either voluntarily or involuntarily I am still obligated to pay all fees still due to the Club within the time frame of the team / player 2015 payment schedule. Failure to comply with the TVSC Fee Payment Schedule or agreed upon alternative financing may result in the suspension of the player from training, games and tournaments. Failure to honor this agreement may result legal action.
