3 A LETTER FROM COACH CKSOCCERLADYJACKSOCCERLADYJ Greetings Lumberjack Nation! What a great spring it has been for our SFA soccer program here in Nacogdoches! Ladyjack Soccer s spring training has seen the implementation of new philosophies and a new shape that really allows our girls to play in a creative and dynamic manner. Recruiting is going very well and there is a great buzz around our program as we travel across Texas running free clinics at various soccer clubs to promote the program and increase awareness. These outreach activities will surely create a great atmosphere to watch our Ladyjacks beat some of the best teams in the country as part of their 2013 season! With that, I am very excited to unveil the 2013 Ladyjack Soccer Capital Enhancement Campaign that is officially under way! We are trying to raise $1.25 million to accomplish the following projects: -Renovation of existing Ladyjack Soccer locker room. -Construct a permanent stadium that ties in the aesthetics of our beautiful campus and our on-campus field location. -Construct a Ladyjack Soccer Clubhouse on-site to house a Ready Room, Meeting Area, Museum Entrance, and Coaches Offices. With these impressive capital improvements, there is no question we will have one of the most special venues to play, and watch, great soccer in the entire country! Group that with a great quality of life, a beautiful campus, and outstanding academic degrees and Stephen F. Austin State University will have the potential to compete at the very highest level both on the field and in recruiting future Ladyjack soccer superstars! But to achieve this WE NEED YOUR HELP! Here are the ways you can help us reach this lofty goal in a timely manner: -Make a gift to the Ladyjack Soccer Booster Club either by mail in, which is attached, or online as part of the Varsity Club. Be sure to dedicate it to Ladyjack Soccer. -Invest in a new a locker for $750 and we will install a Recognition Plate so that our student-athletes are aware of your contribution and support. -Help educate prospective donors of naming rights opportunities and the impact it will have on the entire Nacogdoches community. Thanks for your continued support and I look forward to seeing you all out at our fall games as we compete against the best teams in the country on our quest to three-peat as Southland Conference Champions and achieve the first back-to-back appearances in the NCAA postseason in our program s accomplished history!
