No. NFL/NGL/C/426/2012/ Date: 6-Apr-12 AUCTION NOTICE Auction of fruit on standing trees for one fruit season i.e. from May 2012 to September 2012 in the NFL estate, will be held at site on at 11:00 A.M. The prospective bidders are advised to assemble in Civil Maint. Office, Sector-I, Naya Nangal, for auction proceedings. All the prospective bidders will have to deposit Rs. 10,000/- towards earnest money at the start of the auction, which will be refunded at the fall of hammer, in all the cases except for the successful bidder. 3. All the successful bidders will have to deposit 50% amount in cash of the accepted bid at the fall of hammer. Balance 50% payment shall be deposited by the successful bidder before taking the possession of orchards, in the shape of Demand Draft / Banker s Cheque/ Pay Order only drawn in favour of National Fertilizers Limited, payable at Naya Nangal / Nangal. No Cheque shall be accepted in any case. 4. The successful bidder will be responsible for the vigilance, care and disposal of the fruits and no complaint will be entertained by the management in this respect. 5. The contractor will be responsible for all the liabilities towards person employed for this job. 6. No injury or harm will be caused to the fruit trees in any way. No branch of the trees shall be cut or broken by the contractor.

2 7. The auction shall be treated complete, only when the management finally accepts the bid. 8. In case the management does not approve the bid, the bid money deposited by the bidder shall be refunded. 9. The successful bidder will have to obtain licence on payment of the usual license fee for the sale of fruits within the NFL Estate, from the Municipal Council, Nangal. 10. The construction of temporary huts will be allowed for guarding the orchards. These will have to be removed immediately after the expiry of lease period at the bidders cost. One Electrical Connection & Drinking Water Connection shall be provided free of cost at one point location, to the successful bidder. 11. The matter involving any dispute in respect of the aforesaid auction of fruits on standing trees, in question, will be referred to the sole arbitration of General Manager I/c, NFL Naya Nangal or his nominee, whose decision will be binding on both the parties. The venue of arbitration shall be Nangal only. 12. This contract shall be subject to the jurisdiction of court of Anandpur Sahib in Rupnagar District (Pb). 13. The terms and conditions of auction notice shall form part of the contract between the Company and the successful bidder. 14. Employees of NFL are not allowed to bid. 15. The earnest money of the successful bidder shall be refunded only after one month after giving possession / clearance of site, in writing, which shall be later. 16.
