2 Zen was established in 2012 by a team of professional Rugby players and athletes in Hong Kong. Demanding of our own performances on the field, we were equally demanding of our sportswear and equipment, and we shared the same apathy towards the multinational sports brands and teamwear suppliers dominating the market. We asked the same questions as you have been asking: why do manufacturers use fancy language and jargon when promoting their products, but ultimately supply products that feel and look substandard, generic and soul-less? Sharing an affinity for their mixed British and Oriental roots, as well as their common respect for the importance of focus, attentiveness and mindfulness, the founders formed Zen. Our philosophy is simple - we understand that your sports kit is one of the biggest parts of your team's identity; worn with pride by your team and your supporters alike. That's why, unlike conventional catalogues, you won't find generic design templates in this teamwear catalogue - we simply don't believe in the 'pub-team' mentality of adding your team crest to a pre-fabricated design template in a colour chosen from a limited palette that conveniently suits your team's needs, no matter how big or small your team may be. We believe in the importance of the human touch, but we don't believe that feeling good and looking good should be mutually exclusive. Our dedicated team at Zen are passionate about quality, passionate about design and passionate about sports and we want you and your team to feel good and look good when you step out for your next challenge. Each time we embark on a project, we make sure that we talk to you about your ideas and your needs, to humbly listen and learn about the symbols, colours and icons that matter to you and your teammates. 3 Rubgy Kits It goes without saying that Rugby is our main passion and we are dedicated towards designing and supplying the best high-performance playing kits for both Rugby Union and Rugby League. We offer bespoke designs so that all our teams look and feel unique. All our jerseys are made from 80% polyester and 20% lycra and come in two cuts - Test and Pro. Our Test cut is made from a tougher variety of polyester and designed to be tight fitting, offering a snug fit that moulds to the contours of your body while our Pro cut offers a more relaxed and comfortable fit. Both cuts feature our underarm and sternum lycra panels which offer greater flexibility and breathability in isolated areas while maintaining the overall toughness and protectiveness of the jerseys. We offer children's sizes, sizes 6 to 18 for ladies and sizes XXS to XXXXL on all our jerseys.

Zen Case Study: SCAA Causeway Bay R.F.C. Zen was appointed as the official kit suppliers to the SCAA Causeway Bay Rugby Football Club (the "Club") for the 2012 to 2014 playing seasons.

Originally an all-chinese team, the Club began to recruit expatriate players in 1992 and made its debut in the second tier of the domestic league in 1994.

6 Zen Case Study: SCAA Causeway Bay R.F.C. Zen was appointed as the official kit suppliers to the SCAA Causeway Bay Rugby Football Club (the "Club") for the 2012 to 2014 playing seasons. The Club was founded in 1988 as a development side with the aim of fostering greater participation and enjoyment of Rugby among Hong Kong's local Chinese population. Originally an all-chinese team, the Club began to recruit expatriate players in 1992 and made its debut in the second tier of the domestic league in The Club's development has accelerated since then and with over 400 members to date, the Club now fields teams in almost every division in the domestic league, including the coveted Premiership, and also has an active Ladies' section, Colts section and Mini Rugby Section. The Club has also produced a number of men and women for the Hong Kong Rugby National Team. In 2011, the Club signed a strategic partnership agreement with the South China Athletic Association (the "SCAA"), effectively becoming the SCAA's Rugby section while retaining its own identity and autonomy. SCAA is one of Hong Kong's oldest and most respected sporting associations with over 100 years of history and 50,000 members. The Club prides itself on its incredible club spirit which stems from its diverse group of players and supporters. Players from Hong Kong, Japan, France, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, Zimbabwe, South Africa, Australia, the USA and Canada have come together to be part of the Club. The Club's current Director of Rugby is former Glasgow Warriors and Scotland scrum half Sam Pinder. In 2012, Zen was appointed as the Club's official kit supplier and have thus far produced the Club's 25th Anniversary playing kit, presentation polo shirt, technical training vests, training jerseys and casual tees. Of the teamwear items produced for the Club, the 25th Anniversary Home Jersey has perhaps received the most acclaim. A vibrant cocktail of what has now become a trademark pink incorporating the SCAA's classic tricolor of red, white and blue, the shirt is complemented by a traditional Chinese maze motif which runs from the shoulder joints to the underarm lycra panels. As a professional jersey and in order to cut down on weight, the Causeway Bay and SCAA crests as well as the various sponsors all appear in a sublimated format across the jersey. This includes 'Standard Life' across the chest, 'ANS Australian Nutrition & Sports' over the back, as well as the Causeway Bay RFC 25th Anniversary celebratory logo on the left sleeve and the badge of Causeway Bay's chosen charity partner, the Hans Andersen Club, adorning the right sleeve.
