4 BASEBALL Spring Break Youth Baseball Camp AGES 5-13 The 2018 baseball season is in full bloom and the City of Berkeley is offering a half day baseball camp this spring break. This camp will focus on the development of fundamental baseball skills in a fun and safe environment, which both novice and experienced players will enjoy. The camp will include instruction in hitting mechanics, infield/outfield fielding fundamentals, base running, and pitching mechanics from experienced high school baseball coaches. No prior baseball experience is needed to participate in this camp. This camp will be a great mid-season review to help players finish the spring season strong and a great introduction to the City of Berkeley s Summer Youth Baseball League. Registration is open now. Coaches will learn basic drills on how to run practices, and how to teach hitting, throwing, base running and fielding.
