2 Congratulations on a great season and for advancing to the Class 6A Division I Regional Semi-Finals. On behalf of Carroll ISD and the Athletic Department, we look forward to hosting you and your team to on Friday, December 1. Included in this packet is information that will assist you with your visit to Dragon Stadium in Southlake. You will find contact and facility information along with a parking map for your team, band, and spirit busses. Other helpful information is provided for students, parents, administrators, and support personnel. Please share this Visitor Guide with all supporters that it may pertain to. It is our goal to make your visit to a safe and memorable evening. 3 Arlington Martin (Home-South Side) vs. Allen (Visitor-North Side) Friday, December 1, 2017 Admission: All tickets are GENERAL ADMISSION. Pre-Sale Tickets: Adult $ 8.00, Students $6.00 All tickets will be $10.00 at the gate on game night. Ticket windows and gates open at 6:00 p.m. KICKOFF is 7:30. Carroll ISD will accept Visa, Amex credit cards and cash only- No Check Accepted No backpacks or large duffle bags are allowed. Only small purses and clear tote bags are allowed in the stadium. Purses and tote bags are subject to be searched. Martin and Allen will sell their own pre-sale tickets Martin and Allen will issue their own sideline credentials. Please a copy of tickets and credentials to: Taylor.Fielder@SouthlakeCarroll.edu Accepted Passes: General Parking: Reserved Parking: Bus Parking: District 4-6A and 6-6A Administrator, THSADA, THSCA, and TGCA No fee will be charged to for parking. Lots will open at 5:00. Tailgating is permitted, however, strict regulations apply and will be enforced by Carroll ISD and the Southlake Police Department. See Tailgating Regulations Page included in this packet. Carroll will provide 9 reserved parking spaces for each school in the VIP lot east of the locker rooms. These spaces are reserved for district administrators, athletic directors, and principals only. The names of these administrators will be on a list with the parking lot attendant. The athletic director from each school will send those names to Taylor.Fielder@SouthlakeCarroll.edu Football team busses will enter the reserved lot on the east side of the stadium and park parallel to the curb next to the locker room. Band and Spirit/Support group buses will park on the West side of in the fenced lot behind the scoreboard. See Bus Parking Diagram included in this packet.
4 Dressing Rooms: Martin will occupy the south end dressing rooms. Allen will occupy the north end dressing rooms. Dressing rooms will open at 5:00 p.m. CISD will not provide towels. CISD will furnish 10 bags of ice which will be located outside the team locker room. Water access is available on both sidelines. CISD is not responsible for articles left in the dressing rooms before, during, or after the game. This area is for team personnel only. Coaches and players families will not be allowed in this area following the game. Please provide a roster to the Carroll Athletic Department as soon as possible, so that locker tags can be produced. Game Program: Martin Band: Allen Band: Support Groups: Sidelines: Playing Field: Each school may choose to do their own game program, or Carroll Athletics can provide the program upon request. Please communicate a request for program no later than Wednesday at noon. The Martin Band and Drill Team will occupy the east end zone bleachers on the south end. The bleachers on the north end of the east end zone will be used for overflow seating. The Allen Band and Drill Team will occupy the northwest section of the stands on their side. Group sponsors, band/drill members, and cheerleaders in uniform will be admitted free of charge. All band chaperones must have a ticket to enter the gate. Otherwise, they must have a visible band chaperone pass or be wearing a uniformed shirt. Only authorized personnel will be allowed on the sidelines or in the end zones. All non-uniformed personnel will be required to produce a sideline pass for admittance to the field. Teams will produce their own sideline pass and send a copy to: Taylor.Fielder@SouthlakeCarroll.edu Administration from each school will be responsible for monitoring and controlling their own sideline. D&L Security will be contracted for the event and will be available to assist. Use of tobacco, sunflower seeds, and gum is prohibited. Only water can be used on the field no colored drinks such as Gatorade, etc. Absolutely NO glass bottles, cans, or food on the field. This includes band and all spirit groups. All equipment such as training tables, fans, and heaters must have a protective base. No live mascots. No cannons or confetti. Band props must not scar the field. No ice chests will be allowed in the stadium; except for those being used by competing teams, bands, and drill teams.
5 Rules of Notice: No spectators will not be permitted to cross the playing field; therefore, we encourage all guests to purchase tickets and enter on their side of the stadium. has a No in-and-out Policy. Fans leaving the stadium must purchase another ticket to re-enter. Absolutely no climbing or jumping over the rails from the bleachers on to the field. Noise Makers: NO artificial noisemakers are allowed at this event. NO air horns, whistles, or poppers will be permitted in the stands. Only homemade noisemakers will be allowed. Ex: shakers, clappers, and cowbells. The only artificial horn allowed will be an air horn on the field. It can only be used as the team enters the field at the beginning of the first and second half or following a score. The horn must be pointed away from the opposing team s fans and participants. No powder, confetti, or streamers will be allowed in the stands. Signage: Spirit signs are allowed but must be made of cloth/vinyl with permanent paint that does not run when wet. Signs must be tied to the stadium railing. No paper or painted signs. Taping of signs to any stadium structure will not be permitted. Signage that includes advertising or business logos will NOT be permitted. This regulation is to protect our paid sponsors inside Dragon Stadium. Radio: Allen Radio will be using the room provided on level 2 of the press box. Radio will be using the room provided on level 3 of the press box.
6 Press Box: Only coaches, scouts, and credentialed media are allowed in the press box, unless arrangements have been made through the Carroll ISD Athletic Office. Only 2 scouts representing each team s next two possible opponents will be given press box access. Scouts and media must make prior arrangements by filling out the Media/Scout request form located on the Carroll athletic website: Upon approval, credentials will be ready for pick up at the home-side Will Call window. The press box will open at 6:00. LEVEL 3: MARTIN RADIO HOME COACHES SCORE CLOCK FILM DECK PUBLIC ADDRESS ALLEN COACHES VIDEO BOARD/ PROD LEVEL 2: OPERATIONS/ SECURITY DECK ALLEN RADIO MEDIA/SCOUTS 25 MAX ALLEN ADMIN/GUEST CARROLL ATHLETICS DECK General/Safety: For handicapped guests, ramps are located on each side at both ends of the stadium. AED s are located in several locations throughout the stadium. Please have trainers touch base prior to kick off to familiarize themselves with these locations. Paramedics and Police officers will be on duty. CISD uses the services of D&L Security for varsity football games. They will assist in locating seats and general security issues. They will be able to contact police and CISD administration if needed. Make sportsmanship a priority for students, parents, fans, coaches, and athletes. Security and Administration will be available for those who do not display good sportsmanship.
