3 JUNIORS NEWS U14'S ARE ON FIRE! Many congratulations to the U14 s run by Sam Merrison whose team won at home against Teddington last Sunday. The team are on a running streak right now, with top goal scorer Josh Heaton (see here), notching up another goal at the weekend.

4 1st TEAM NEWS BHAM FC 0 FRIMLEY GREEN 2 DESPITE THE RESULT AT THE WEEKEND THE MEN S 1ST TEAM AND MMITTEE MEMBERS HIT THE CURRY HOUSE LAST SATURDAY. Right now the team sit mid-table and with recent changes in the squad, we are proud that our young players are not only coping, but showing such commitment to the club. I am sure with the New Year will come greater progression up the table and towards the ambitions of the club as a whole.

5 NEWS #1 PLAYER PROFILE DAN ROBERTS 1ST TEAM GOALKEEPER Dan is a PE Teacher, a product of our youth team along with Ross Cull and Matt Duckham. He studied at Chichester University and played for Midhurst whilst there. He's also a very good cricketer and is club captain of Whitely Village. BACK IN TIME BHAM 125 YEARS ANNIVERSARY Did you know from 1928 to 1930, Cobham Football Club were proud winners of the Kingston & District League. The KDL remains strong today with three divisions and more than 50 teams.

6 NEWS #2 VANILLA BEAN VOLUNTEER OF THE MONTH SEAN CAMPBELL December Vanilla Bean Volunteer of the Month is Sean Campbell. Sean has two boys at the club and is the under 7 s joint manager. Head of Youth Football Frank Gomez explains, Sean s passion and support about doing the right thing is truly appreciated by the club. Sean also recently completed his Level 1 Coaching Certificate. Congratulations Sean and your Vanilla Bean hamper will be winging its way to you before Christmas. TICKETS FOR THE BALL ARE GOING FAST! 7 MEET THE MMITTEE All clubs need people who go out of their way to make the environment and facilities a place of fun and belonging. Our Vice Chairman Ewemade Orobator (seen here in the home dugout), has been with Cobham FC through thick and thin. Ewemade (or Maddy as he is known), played an instrumental part in moving the club forward, since which time both the Junior and Senior sides have flourished. Maddy s devotion and hard work for Cobham FC is matched only by his warm and fun loving personality. Maddy epitomises the persona of our club. Some may not know that Maddy s commitment to community development spans 25 years. He is a former youth worker, a life coach, author, keen sportsman and has made numerous radio and tv appearances including the Daily Politics We are lucky to have you Maddy. Merry Christmas!

10 Celebrating 125 years Date Saturday 11 th March, 7.30pm - Midnight Venue York Suite, Oatlands Park Hotel, Oatlands Drive, Weybridge, KT13 9HB Dinner You will be seated for a sumptuous three course dinner, followed by coffee and chocolates Evening Entertainment Dinner will be followed by some special speakers & Cobham FC Chairman Dave Tippetts; Throughout the evening there will be some surprises in store and some fundraising games. We will also be raising money on the night by hosting a live and silent auction as well as having a Raffle. Guests will then take to the dance floor and dance the night away to the music provided by the infamous Surrey DJ s. Tables Tables will be a maximum of 10 people. If you wish to reserve a table, we will expect you to have a table of 8-10 guests. For anyone purchasing less than 10 tickets you will be placed with other guests to make up a table. We will be happy to accommodate any seating arrangements. Tickets Ticket price is 50 per person. This can be paid via Cash, cheque or bank transfer. Closing date for ticket sales is Friday 17th February, tickets are limited so buy them early to avoid disappointment! Drinks / Bar There will be a cash / card bar on the evening with a selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. If you wish to order wine / beer for your table, this can be purchased at the drinks reception on the evening of the event. Car Parking There will be on-site parking at the venue and guests are welcome to leave their cars overnight.
