4 FROM A TO Z Admission: All guests entering Heinz Field, regardless of age, must have a valid event ticket or credential to gain admission into the stadium. Guests arriving after halftime should use Gate B, which will be open the entire game. Alcohol: Guests of Heinz Field must be 21 years or older to purchase/consume alcoholic beverages. ARAMARK reserves the right to check proof of legal drinking age. There is a maximum of two (2) beers per purchase at all concession stands. For Steelers games, alcohol sales in the seating bowl will be discontinued at the end of the third quarter. For University of Pittsburgh games, alcohol is only sold in the clubs and suites. ARAMARK has the right to discontinue the sale of alcohol at anytime during an event. ATM Machines: Nine PNC Bank ATM Machines are located throughout the stadium as well as five portable ATM s. Banners or signs that are attached to poles are prohibited. Cameras: Cameras (still only) are permitted inside Heinz Field as long as their use does not interfere with the game or other guests enjoyment of the game. Professional Cameras/Lenses (longer than 6 in.) are not permitted. Video cameras and video recording of events at Heinz Field is prohibited. 2

5 2012 FAN GUIDE Cellular Phones: Usage of cellular phones in the stadium is permitted, as long as it does not disturb other fans in the area or interfere with their ability to enjoy the event. Container Policy: For the safety of all our guests, bottles, cans, coolers, thermoses, flasks, or any other type of container deemed to be potentially harmful in any way are prohibited in Heinz Field. Designated Drivers: Guests of legal drinking age who hold a valid driver s license and wish to sign up to be a designated driver may stop by the designated drivers booths located at Gates A, B or C. In return for safe and sober transportation of their group from Heinz Field, the designated driver will receive a coupon redeemable for a soft drink during the game. Coupons can be redeemed at any concession stand. Guests may register until the end of the first quarter. Designated Drop-Off: For guests convenience, two accessible dropoffs are provided. Drop-off areas are located at the intersection of Art Rooney Avenue and Reedsdale Street at the Northeast corner by Gate B and North Shore Drive at the Southwest Corner, directly across from the Carnegie Science Center. Disability Services: For questions concerning disability services and/or accessible seating, please call the Steelers Ticket Office at (412) , Guest Services at (412) (press 4) or visit Steelers.com. Elevators: Elevators are located at the Press Entrance (Southwest corner of stadium across from the Carnegie Science Center), Gate C Suite Lobby and Gate B Suite Lobby for use by guests holding suite tickets and disabled guests. Escalators: Escalators going to all levels of Heinz Field are located in the East and West Rotundas at Gate A and at the northeast corner by Gate B. 3

6 FROM A TO Z Fan Code of Conduct: Heinz Field, the Pittsburgh Steelers and the University of Pittsburgh are committed to creating a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable sports and entertainment environment both in the stadium and in the parking lots. Our goal is to provide a positive Heinz Field experience linked together by the fans, staff, and players. Heinz Field has enhanced our guest services program to benefit YOU, our guests. Our Fan Code of Conduct is a constant reminder of the importance of a fanfriendly environment. This Fan Code of Conduct has been designed to set fan behavior guidelines and to encourage all guests to treat others with P.R.I.D.E. We want all fans attending our events to enjoy the experience in a responsible fashion. You can contribute to this campaign by 4 Positive Heinz Field Experience Respect Each Other Integrity Dignified Behavior Excellence On and Off the Field P.R.I.D.E. in Yourself. P.R.I.D.E. in the Game. conducting yourself with P.R.I.D.E. at all times. Together we are ALL part of the components to achieve P.R.I.D.E.! When attending an event, you are required to refrain from the following behaviors: Behavior that is unruly, disruptive, or illegal in nature Intoxication or other signs of alcohol impairment that results in irresponsible behavior P.R.I.D.E. TENT Fans have the opportunity to pledge to be a great fan for the day as well as enter their name into a prize drawing! Fans can sign up at the P.R.I.D.E. tent located on the South Plaza underneath the scoreboard. When a fan signs up, he/she is pledging to be a great fan and exemplify the elements of P.R.I.D.E. Two winners will be selected each home game. Guests may register until the end of the 1st quarter. Foul or abusive language or obscene gestures Interference with the progress of the event (including throwing objects onto the field)

7 2012 FAN GUIDE Failing to follow instructions of stadium personnel Verbal or physical harassment of opposing team fans Wearing or displaying any apparel or signage with profane/abusive language Season Ticket Holders and event patrons are responsible for their conduct as well as the conduct of their guests and/or persons occupying their seats. Stadium staff will promptly intervene to support an environment where event patrons, their guests, and other fans can enjoy the event free from the offensive behaviors. Event patrons and guests who violate these provisions will be subject to ejection without refund and potential loss of ticket privileges for future events. PSSI Stadium LLC reserves the right to revoke ticket privileges for any reason and at any time during the season. PSSI Stadium LLC will notify in writing the season ticket holder of record of any report of fan misconduct. All fans ejected from the stadium for violating the Code of Conduct will be required to complete the NFL online Fan Conduct Class. Fans ejected from the stadium will be prohibited from attending stadium events until he/she has completed the Fan Conduct Class and produced the Class Certificate of Completion to the Director of Venue Security at Heinz Field. If a guest wishes to report intolerable behavior, please go to the nearest Guest Services Room, call our fan hotline or send a text message. We thank you for adhering to our Fan Code of Conduct. 8 FROM A TO Z FAN HOTLINE & TEXT MESSAGING Fans can report emergencies in the seating bowl directly from their seat. If you see a fight, medical emergency or rowdy fan, please text PITT33 to the number or call our Fan Hotline at (412) A guest services attendant will be able to assist you and dispatch the appropriate entities to the emergency. Please note the phone line and text messaging are only answered on game days. Flexible Scheduling: Due to the NFL s flexible scheduling policy, game times may change for the games scheduled from weeks Please log on to Steelers.com to receive further information about accurate game times. If the game time is changed, NO REFUNDS will be issued if the ticket holder cannot attend. First Aid: Five first aid rooms are located throughout Heinz Field. Medical services are provided before, during and after each event. In the event of a medical emergency, please notify the nearest stadium personnel. Locations are: East Side behind Section 103 in the FedEx Great Hall Lower Level North behind Section 123 Northeast Club Level Upper Level East behind Section 517 Upper Level West behind Section ST-IN-GOAL: The 1ST-IN-GOAL promotion with an emphasis on 1ST- IN, encourages fans to come in early and enjoy the pre-game festivities. The first 25,000 fans will receive a scratch and win card compliments of the Pittsburgh Post Gazette. There are numerous prizes each week, from overnight stays at Nemacolin Resort, Steelers Nike Jerseys, various gift cards, and pregame field passes which include participation in our Terrible Towel Twirl immediately before kickoff on the Steelers Sideline. Come early and try to win all season long! 6

9 2012 FAN GUIDE Gate Entry: Entry gates are Gate A (South), Gate B (Northeast) and Gate C (Northwest). Gates open for guest entry two (2) hours prior to kick-off. All gates are handicap accessible. Guests are encouraged to arrive early. Getting to Heinz Field: PSSI Stadium LLC encourages all guests to utilize the convenient downtown parking and public transportation. Parking on the North Shore is reserved and pre-sold. Fans are encouraged to utilize the Port Authority LRT. Take the T to Allegheny Station and/or Northside station. Allegheny Station is located at the intersection of Allegheny Avenue and Reedsdale Street. Northside Station is located at the bottom of the West General Robinson Street Garage. Guest Services: Guest Services assists guests before, during and after each event at Heinz Field, including lost children, emergency paging, lost and found, stadium information, car trouble, closed captioning mobile devices, hearing impaired amplifiers and comments. Guest Services Rooms are located throughout Heinz Field, East Side behind Section 104 in the FedEx Great Hall, Lower Level North behind Section 123, Upper Level East behind Section 504 and Upper Level West behind Section 528. 10 FROM A TO Z Kids Connection: Parents can register their child with Heinz Field personnel to aid stadium staff in the event they become separated. A wristband with the parents seat location will be given to the child. Registration is available at all four Guest Services Rooms; behind Section 104 in the FedEx Great Hall, Lower Level North behind Section 123, Upper Level East behind Section 504 and Upper Level West behind Section 528. Lost & Found: Guests needing to claim or report lost items during a game should visit one of the Guest Services Rooms. Guests inquiring about lost items at previous games should call (412) for information. Items lost at prior games are held in storage for 30 days and then either disposed of or donated to an appropriate charitable organization. Items lost/found at previous events will not be available for pick up on event days. Merchandise: Guests wishing to purchase Pittsburgh Steelers and University of Pittsburgh Panthers merchandise can find Pittsburgh Sideline 8

11 2012 FAN GUIDE Re-Entry: Exit and re-entry is not permitted at Heinz Field. In case of a medical emergency, please proceed to the Guest Services Kiosk at Gate B. Restrooms: There are 52 restrooms located throughout Heinz Field. Family restrooms with changing tables are located on the East Side behind Section 105 in the FedEx Great Hall, Lower Level North behind Section 124, West Side behind Section 141, East Club behind Section 205, Hyundai Club West behind Section 240, Upper Level East behind Section 505, Upper Level West behind Section 529, Upper Level North behind Section 522, and North Club Lounge behind Sections 4 and 12. All restrooms are accessible and have accessible stalls. Stores and various portable stands located throughout Heinz Field. Locations are indicated on the Heinz Field Level Layout Maps inside this guide. Parking: The Heinz Field Fan Guide contains a map identifying parking lots throughout the area. Parking information for downtown garages and pre-sold spaces on the North Shore is also provided on Steelers.com 9

12 FROM A TO Z Security: Guests at Heinz Field are asked to cooperate with security personnel to ensure the safety of all patrons. In addition, fans who wear or bring heavy clothing, jackets, or blankets will be asked to open such items for inspection and hand metal detection searches. The following items are not permitted: Bags Backpacks Coolers (hard/soft sided) Thermoses Large purses (larger than 8 ½ x 11) Cans Bottles Flasks Alcoholic Beverages Laser Pointers Strollers Apparel or signage displaying profane or abusive language Video/Movie Cameras Professional Cameras/Lenses (longer than 6 ) Tripods Audio Recording Equipment Banners or Signs on poles Weapons Any other item deemed dangerous and/or inappropriate Small purses, small camera cases, binocular cases and diaper bags will be permitted; however, all items that do not pass security must be returned to vehicles. Guests are asked to arrive early to eliminate lines at security checks. Heinz Field is NOT responsible for items left at gates. 10

13 2012 FAN GUIDE Sitting or Standing: To ensure fan safety and enjoyment of all games, sitting or standing in the aisles and crosswalks, or in ramps and stairways, is not permitted. Standing on stadium seats is also prohibited. Smoking Policy: Heinz Field is a smoke-free facility. In consideration of the comfort of all ticket holders, we ask your cooperation. There are NO designated smoking areas inside the stadium, and reentry is prohibited. Guests who fail to comply with the policy after appropriate warning may be subject to ejection from Heinz Field. All season ticket holders and event patrons are responsible for whoever utilizes their tickets and occupies that particular seat for any event held at Heinz Field. Special Events: The FedEx Great Hall, South Plaza, Club Lounges and Press Box Dining Room are available for rent for parties and other events on non-event days. 14 FROM A TO Z Telephones: There are public telephones located throughout Heinz Field as shown on the Heinz Field Level layout maps inside this guide. Ticket Reselling Zone: Fans wishing to re-sell their event tickets can safely do so in the ticket reselling zone located at the northeastern corner of Tony Dorsett Way and North Shore Drive. Umbrellas: Umbrellas are permitted in Heinz Field, but are not permitted to be opened. Wheelchairs: A limited number of wheelchairs are available for transporting guests who are disabled to their seating location. Guests can be transported from the gates to their seats. If a wheelchair is needed for the duration of the game, guests must supply their own wheelchairs. Wheelchairs cannot be reserved in advance. Upon arrival, guests can arrange for a wheelchair at any entrance of Heinz Field. Guests needing assistance after the game should contact a Seat Attendant or visit one of the Guest Services Rooms. Guests can then receive wheelchair transportation back to the gate. Wheelchair storage is available at any Guest Services or concierge location. 12
