It is a very exciting time for the Port Melbourne Football Club. We have maintained our coveted position as the most successful club in VFA/VFL history, by collecting our 17 th Premiership in the year As a Standalone club we have to work hard to hold our borough independence. We all love premierships, and on field success is our reason for being, but they alone do not (automatically) provide the financial strength that is required to compete in the current challenging VFL environment. Our club, YOUR CLUB, must keep pace with the demands of a competition and a sport that is continually evolving. We as an administration, must stay ahead of the game. That is why your support is crucial to our aspirations and ambitions ahead. The Port Melbourne Football Club Board of Directors and I have re calibrated our goals, have determined our strategy, and we need your help to carry it through. Don t just become Members, become Ambassadors for one of this country s best clubs. We have taken some bold moves, to ensure our determination to remain at the top is given every chance of succeeding. We want you to participate in club activity and be a part of our growth. As we build the club into the future, I cannot stress to you enough, the importance of club membership. We d like you to sell our club, to your families and friends.
