2 A LETTER FROM THE GENERAL MANAGER In, there will be a lot to get excited about as a Coburg Football Club member. Changes have been and will be made both on and off the field which will provide renewed optimism, positivity and excitement. As a club, we must ensure that we build a strong culture where respect, hard work, decency and a Club first attitude is built around a care and share model. We ensure that we provide the Moreland region and inner Northern suburbs of Melbourne with the best possible Club and football environment that will reflect our status as the regions elite football Club. The club is keen to promote itself as the football hub of the Moreland and inner Northern region of Melbourne and we have been working hard to make sure that we have good relationships with AFL Victoria, the Moreland Council and all of the local EDFL Clubs as there is no doubt that the Northern Suburbs of Melbourne has been able to produce AFL/VFL quality players and we see this as a very important area for us to recruit our future players from, so the relationships must be strong to ensure this pathway provides opportunities for the region's most talented players to aspire to and through it to enable these players to play football at highest levels that they can. This takes work, but we're ready! Becoming a member isnt just your entry to games, its also about being part of the fabric of the Coburg Football Club. Its about living and breathing the moments the moments that define us, whether they are highs or lows. Everyone is welcome at Coburg; our football community is diverse and all-inclusive. We are a family. Whether its welcome or welcome back, we cant wait to see what the future brings. With your support, we can achieve anything. In, Piranha Park will see 10 home games of VFL action for the club, this represents fantastic value in your membership. The club will also be launching a new and exciting "Lions rewards" program, giving you the member, greater benefits, more than just watching football games. The club will also be making some events or functions free for members putting you at an advantage over others that will have to pay to enter. We are planning to make our home game days in family friendly and exciting days to attend with lots of activities for the kids and some good entertainment for the adults of the community as well. In recent times Coburg has been pleased to be a part of some fantastic initiatives and we have some great ideas for many more in. We want to see our terraces full of blue and red on game days, we want the community to hear the roar coming from our stadium. We also ask for your support to spread the word as we release our membership categories packages for. In, the club will work even harder to ensure that the community knows that "We are Coburg", the real Coburg, the Coburg with a rich history, the Coburg with 126 years of tradition, a family environment, pride and of course a Coburg that is respected in a State League competition. To ensure we can continue to build the Club I ask for your support to sell our Club to your families and friends to join up as a member. As we build our Club into the future I cannot stress the importance of your memberships as each member is and can be an ambassador to sell our Club to your families and friends so that we can ensure that the Coburg Football Club thrives and prospers into the future, so I am asking for your assistance and help in any way possible to sell and promote our Club in and beyond.
