2 IMPORTANT INFORMATION CONCERNING COMPETITIONS Please send completed entry forms with the appropriate fees a.s.a.p to the Captain; Mr G de Gruchy, Windrush 6 Le Clos de la Rocque, La Grande Route des Sablons, Grouville, JE3 9BY. Late entries may be phoned ( or ) but will be accepted at the Captain s discretion. Please inform the Captain as soon as possible if you are unable to play any competitions that you have entered and the Social Chairman for social events if you are unable to attend.if notification of withdrawal from a competition is received less than 12 hours in advance of the check in time there will be no refund of entry fees. When entries come in late or the captain is not told of cancellations the competition has to be re-formatted on the day and this can cause delays. THE PRINTED CHECK IN TIME FOR ALL COMPETITIONS IS:- THE LAST POSSIBLE TIME THAT YOU CAN CHECK IN CHECKING IN AFTER THAT TIME MEANS YOU WILL CERTAINLY MISS THE FIRST GAME AND PROBABLY THE WHOLE COMPETITION The terrains are available for use by members at all times. However if there is a competition in place ask the captain which terrains are spare. Some league teams are based on the club s terrain. Check with the league team which terrains they will be using. There is a petanque session starting at 2pm prompt every Wednesday- no need to book and no charge. Potential new members are always very welcome on either Wednesday or Sunday sessions and these are an excellent opportunity for them to see if they enjoy the game. While there are competitions on a great number of Sundays those players who want to play non competitively should meet at 1.45pm, inevitably there will be enough like-minded members present to ensure a game. 2
