2 I, DOCTOR GORDON STANLEY CLIFFORD PARK WILLS PRESTOUNGRANGE, (otherwise Gordon Prestoungrange) BARON OF PRESTOUNGRANGE and BARON OF DOLPHINGSTOUN, residing at The Manor House, Rectory Lane, Milton Malsor, Northamptonshire IN CONSIDERATION of the love, favour and affection which I have and bear to my son DOCTOR JULIAN GAWAIN CLIFFORD WILLS, also residing at The Manor House, Rectory Lane, Milton Malsor, aforesaid DO HEREBY DISPONE to and in favour my said son and his successors and assignees whomsoever heritably and irredeemably ALL and WHOLE the Lands and Barony of Dolphingstoun, formerly called Colthrople, in the County of East Lothian, which Lands and Barony of Dolphingstoun was contained and comprehended within the Lands and Barony of Prestoungrange in the said County described in Deed of Entail by Sir George Grant-Suttie of Prestongrange and Balgone, Baronet, in favour of himself and the Heirs of Entail thereinmentioned dated Twenty-ninth December Eighteen hundred and Sixty-five and recorded in the Register of Tailzies on the Eighteenth and in the New General Register of Sasines on the Thirtieth both days of January and registered in the Books of Council and Session on Twenty-seventh February both months in the year Eighteen hundred and Sixty-six; Which Lands and Barony of Dolphingstoun now comprise those two areas of ground described in and shown coloured red on the plan annexed and subscribed as relative to Disposition by Sir James Edward Grant-Suttie of Balgone in my favour dated Fourth February Two Thousand and recorded in the said Division of the General Register of Sasines of even date with the recording of these presents; TOGETHER WITH the whole baronial rights, regalia, baronial privileges and others associated with the Barony of Dolphingstoun BUT ALWAYS WITH AND UNDER so far as still valid, subsisting and applicable the burdens. conditions, reservations and others specified and contained in the said Deed of Entail; Declaring that in so far as I and my said disponee can competently do so, the said areas of ground before described are by these presents nominated, designated and appointed to be the 2

5 I, SIR JAMES EDWARD GRANT-SUTTIE OF BALGONE, Baronet, of Sheriffhall, North Berwick, East Lothian, Considering that by Disposition in favour of GORDON PRESTOUNGRANGE, Baron of Prestoungrange, residing at The Manor House, Rectory Lane, Milton Malsor, Northamptonshire, dated Twenty-ninth September and recorded in the Division of the General Register of Sasines for the County of East Lothian on Eleventh October both months in the year Nineteen hundred and Ninety-nine, I conveyed to the said Gordon Prestoungrange, for certain good and onerous causes, the Baronial rights. Regalia, Baronial privileges and others associated with the Barony of Dolphingstoun, as part of the Lands and feudal Barony of Prestoungrange, as the said Disposition more folly bears; Further Considering that I have agreed to convey the subjects hereinafter disponed, which formed part of the said Lands and Barony of Dolphingstoun to the said Gordon Prestoungrange without any further consideration being paid to me therefor; Now Therefore I hereby DISPONE to and in favour of the said Gordon Prestoungrange and his successors and assignees whomsoever heritably and irredeemably ALL and WHOLE those two areas of ground at Dolphingstoun (otherwise Dolphingstone) in the County of East Lothian, formerly forming part of the A 1 Edinburgh to London trunk road, which has now been re-routed, as the said two areas of ground are shown coloured red on the plan annexed and signed as relative hereto; TOGETHER WITH the whole parts, privileges and pertinents effeiring to the said areas of ground BUT ALWAYS WITH AND UNDER the burden of all rights in favour of the public, public and private service providers and all others having rights to use the said areas of ground as a public highway and for ancillary 5

6 purposes, except to the extent that the said former trunk road may have been or the present public road may be officially stopped up; WITH ENTRY as at the date hereof; And I grant simple warrandice: IN WITNESS WHEREOF I have subscribed these presents consisting of this and the preceding page together with the plan annexed hereto at Sheriffhall aforesaid on Fourth February in the year Two Thousand before this witness Fenella Louise Rankin, Six Green Apron Park, North Berwick. 6
