3 Tour Outline The South West Qld Football tour to Japan and Tokyo s Kashima region will depart Brisbane on Friday 15 th September 2017 and returning Friday the 22 nd depending on flight schedules tba. The tour is open to Boys U13-14 (born ) and Girls U (born ). The tour will arrive in Tokyo on Saturday 16 th and transfer to the Kashima region where you will stay at the National football Centre of Japan; Kashima Heights Sports Plaza here you will stay for the next 6 nights with all meals included. You will get the opportunity to watch a live J-League game on this day. The football program offered will be of the highest standards including J-League elite sessions at FC Tokyo and Kashima Antlers academy coaching staff, high quality friendly games against local opposition plus the day long Red Lion Cup invitational tournament which will be played in a 8 v 8 style format to maximize touches on the ball and player involvement. Japanese teams are regarded as highly technical and well organized and it gives our young Australian players an opportunity to match their ability against the other powerhouse nation in the Asian Football Confederation. Young Australian teams start World Cup preparations as young as 13 years old now so this type of exposure to the Asian game is invaluable for a young players development. The cultural aspects of a Japan tour are not forgotten and you will get to experience the best of this region whilst on tour, from traditional Japanese shrines and temples to amazing shopping precincts in the heart of Tokyo and the fantastic Edo Wonderland & Tokyo Disney Land theme park where you will enjoy a full day pass. You will also have a guided tour of Kashima Antlers stadium for a behind the scenes look into the professional side of Japanese football. The tour will be lead by Chris McLeod & Richard Mitchell plus 2 Red Lion Football Japanese tour guides.

6 SAFETY Safety of the children, in our eyes, is paramount to the tour, so we have put several procedures in place to ensure that both the staff, parents and the children do not feel their safety is threatened throughout the tour. Hotel & Coach Company Audits We conduct a risk assessment for every tour on hotel and coach companies we use to make sure that these are secure and nothing threatens the safety of the children. This takes in to considerations rooming, food, pools, gymnasiums, balconies, windows, seat belts, driver hours etc. Crisis Management In the unlikely event that someone gets injured, there s an accident or even a crisis, we have procedures in place, and our staff are trained to deal with any emergency. We know the closest hospital and or Doctor from every hotel and as part of this process, we have a duty manager on call 24/7 whilst a tour is taking place, so that if anything were to happen we have someone able to respond immediately, who can then contact the parents of the children back home. First Aid All of our Tour Representatives are first aid trained, and we make sure that there is someone at the games who can deal with any injuries

19 Payment Schedule Once we have received your application form and it has been approved by SWQ, Red Lion Football will an invoice to you direct one week prior to the dates below for payment. If payments are not received by these dates the player may run the risk of losing their place on the tour.
