1 2017 Freshmen Forms Packet

2 2017 Dear DONS Football Parent, Welcome to the Acalanes football program for the 2017 season. I am looking forward to working with all of the young men here, as well as meeting all of the parents. I would like for you to be involved with our football program as much as your schedule allows. You are cordially welcome to attend practices and special events such as an upcoming "Mothers' Night," Tahoe football camp and all other activities that will be scheduled. One of the things I'd like to emphasize is that football should be fun, and that athletes will be given every opportunity to earn a position. We will teach proper technique and fundamentals that will help each player succeed on the field. We will install offensive and defensive schemes that the players can take with them at the next level. All of our players will be taught the value of hard work, accountability, honesty and respect. We will also expect our student athlete football players to have high standards and to be role models on and off campus. Please feel free to contact me any time. My is provided below. Thank you, Floyd Burnsed Head Football Coach Floydburnsed1@gmail.com www. AcalanesDonsFootball.com

5 ACALANES IS PROUD TO ER THIS TERRIFIC CAMP OPPORTUNITY The Lake Tahoe Football Camp gives coaching staffs an opportunity to spend four days and three nights with their teams working on football fundamentals and team-building activities in a safe and competitive environment. Located at South Lake Tahoe High and nestled in the Sierra Nevada Mountains, the camp features a lighted turf field, multiple practice fields and is minutes away from beautiful Emerald Bay and Lake Tahoe.
