Keeping and introducing fish The permit holder is authorised, within the site named in condition 2 above and waters listed in condition 4 below: (i) To introduce, or allow to be introduced, fish species as set out in conditions 5 and 6 [and 6A] below; (ii) To keep the fish species named in condition 7 below, within waters specified and subject to the further conditions set; (iii) To move, or allow to be moved, fish within the waters covered by this permit, subject to conditions 5, 6, [6A] and 7. Fish species where keeping conditions apply The permit holder is only authorised to keep the fish species listed below and subject to the specific conditions detailed in the final column below: Species In Water(s) Conditions Zander This species must be removed from the site covered by this permit as stated in Section 2 of this permit. The permit holder must ensure that any fish of this species caught are not returned to this water or these waters listed here. The permit holder must ensure that anglers fishing this water are aware of the requirements of this condition. The permit holder must retain evidence of any fish of this species that has been removed. The permit holder must allow access to Environment Agency officers undertaking monitoring, management or control of this species, at all reasonable times. 8. Records Where a limit is imposed under condition 6, the permit holder must ensure records are kept of all introductions on the Fish Stock Record sheet supplied. This record must include the species, number and weight of the introduced fish and the supplier or suppliers of those fish. 9. Reporting The permit holder must report to the Environment Agency within 5 working days of becoming aware: (i) Any find of previously unrecorded non-native fish species covered in Annex 1 and not exempted by Annex 2 to this Permit in any of the waters covered by this Permit; (ii) Any find of previously unrecorded controlled fish parasite(s) listed in Annex 3 (available in the supporting guidance) in any of the waters covered by this Permit; (iii) Any release or escape of fish from any waters covered by this Permit to an open watercourse (such as a river, drain or canal); (iv) Any additional waters developed on this site, before fish movements take place to those new waters; (v) Any change in the person or persons responsible for any waters covered by this Permit. Provision of information to fish suppliers When ordering fish for introduction from a fish supplier or appointing a fish supplier or contractor to remove fish from the waters covered by this permit, the permit holder must either provide the fish supplier or contractor with a copy of the current version of this permit or inform the fish supplier or contractor of the reference number for this permit. Additional Information The following information may assist the permit holder meet the conditions of this permit or any fish supplier or contractor appointed by the permit holder to meet the conditions of their own permits. It may also assist with the management of the fisheries covered by this permit.
