In saltwater fishing, nothing even compares - they are absolutely the best soft baits on the market for saltwater fishing. Note that as the percentage of salt is increased the material is not as strong but even models with the most salt are still much stronger than plastic baits. Your hook point and barb will go through the material easily. They cut through it but it doesn t rip up like plastic. It may take a little practice to rig the bait straight on your hook. If you mess up and want to try again don t worry, you won t hurt it by rigging it multiple times.
