1 Here s What Others Are Saying About Jimmy D s. I often fish a couple of small ponds for Large Mouth. These ponds are public and get a lot of pressure. As you can imagine the bass are super wary. Saturday night we had a lot of rain. Sunday dawned overcast and breezy. That morning I fished an hour and half with a small finesse worm and caught one small bass. I picked up one of my rods with a 1/8 oz Scruffy tied-on and proceeded to catch four bass in five casts and one was a BEAUTY. It was about as big as they get in this pond. At one time many years ago there were all kinds of US based companies making hand tied quality jigs. Then it went offshore and duality levels decreased tremendously. I have ordered from you before and your work speaks volumes about your company and attention to detail. Obviously, others are realizing it as well and this causes the demand. I attached a couple pictures of a 3.5 lb. smallie I caught today in a small local river here in Ohio. I caught her on an 1/8 oz. watermelon Bearded River Bug with a SK baby rage craw trailer. It's my personal best in the local rivers. I really appreciate the quality and attention to detail that you put into your jigs. When I catch my next PB on a river bug I'll send you the picture... You really nailed the weight of the hook/lead to feather ratio. They had a very slight sinking action when held still yet they still glided through the water nicely. From previous experiences we brought these jigs high through the water column and the first few crappies soon showed up. As the weekend went on the "Weenie Jigs" produced fish 2 to 1 over our live bait presentations.
