We have used a large Circle hook rig with a loop system for big baits. The loop system is far better for big baits as this will lock the loop into the clip during the cast allowing for better bait presentation whilst fishing. The clip can be used for Snelled or Tied hooks attached to the hook or loop. The benefit of using the IMP is that it puts the baited hook closer to the sinker improving aerodynamics yet providing a fail safe mechanical release. For Rig makers it has made life really easy, improving design of the clip down rig and eliminating components required. Cast Position On Impact with water the Imp will release baited hook. 3 Rigs There are four different styles of our clip down rigs. All our rigs are designed so they will set the hook automatically at long distances.
